For me, the most interesting thing was seeing part of a Batman film taking place in "the real world" - that is, somewhere other than Gotham City. Yeah, the building designs were cool and interesting when they showed up in the first movie, but they just became more and more like "movie sets" as the series progressed. (An observatory perched on the back of a giant Atlas statue in the middle of a city?) It'll be interesting to see how the production design team goes for "real world" vs "comic book" in the final film.

The movie looks cool, but the trailer reminds me of that South Park episode where the kids had to watch the Russell Crowe show in order to see a 30 second clip of the new Terrance and Philip movie that hardly has anything in it at all.

I'd say that just flashing it for a second is more of a tease than if they had shown an entire minute of the Batman character.
Seriously though, I wish that I didn't know this film was coming out, and I wish I hadn't seen this trailer. Had I sad this in the theater as the trailer before some other movie, and I had no idea the film was being made and who was in it, my lord my reaction would have been golden at the end of the trailer. I'd be willing to bet that I'd just about jump out of my seat, heh.
Do you guys ever wish you could go back to the times where you could experiance stuff like that again?

Yeah, that is one of the things that sucks about watching trailers at home. I have thought that countless times.
As far as it being a crappy teaser trailer; are you kidding? Anyone remember the teaser trailer to T3? or even Hulk?

Saw this trailer in a crowded theater before The Village this weekend there was a huge gasp from the audience. Looks like a winner!

What a teaser trailer! It certainly did it's job as I am just foaming at the mouth to see this movie. Christian Bale just seemed to nail young Bruce Wayne, and the shot at the end of Batman in full costume was just....amazing.

Been seeing a lot of Batmobile footage on the local news past few days as they've been filming here in Chicago.
Apparently, Lower Wacker Drive is being used as the tunnel between the Batcave & Gotham

Everytime I hear Christian Bale speak, I'm impressed. In real life, he has a very heavy British accent, yet in most of his movie roles he speaks perfect American English. Great talent at mimicry.

I too saw this in a crowded theater in front of The Village. I knew it was Batman when I saw Alfred (Caine) and young Bruce, and he was talking about his parents being murdered. But then the "7 Years in Tibet" stuff kicked in and I questioned it... but it turned out to be Bats after all. Maybe we can finally leave the B&R debacle behind us with a decent Batman... though I can't say I'm too fond of the Bat SUV, or -mobile, or whatever its called - thing I've seen. Bale looks to be a great Batman.

I also saw this trailer before The Village and people in the audience were complaining on why Hollywood must make another batman movie and how unoriginal the studios are. Well I am very excited for this movie.
