.
distant 3, Dumb and Dumber

My picks and a few comments:

1. The Producers:

Disappointed more people haven't seen this yet. Still is and will most likely always be the funniest damn thing I have ever seen on film. The reaction shot from the crowd after the opening "Springtime for Hitler" number in the play is the funniest thing I think I have ever seen.

2. Airplane:

Still holds up well and I am amazed that is does. Watched it again the other night and it must have been like the 20th or 30th time I have seen it. But was in the mood for it and soon I was laughing at things I had seen many times over.

3. South Park: BLU:

I sat there in the theater with my jaw on my feet and couldn't believe the audacity of what I was seeing. Nearly lost it with the Satan and Saddam stuff, but still found myself laughing over and over again.

Monty Python and The Holy Grail is the funniest movie ever, IMO.
The Big Lebowski and Raising Arizona are two great modern comedies.
