It frightens me what some people think are funny movies, let alone the funniest of all-time.

Anyway, mine are. . .

Stripes

Animal House

Caddyshack

Heh, for a moment, I thought that was referring to Dungeons & Dragons, which would qualify as a hilarious movie.

Comedy is subjective therefore different people have different ideas on what comedies are the best.
Classics:
Duck Soup(no stupid tenors, no insipid love story, just lunacy)
The General(Buster Keaton)
His Girl Friday

Modern:
Blazing Saddles (Would not get made today as it has something to offend everyone)
Young Frankenstien(skewers classic horror movies)
Airplane(started a whole new type of comedy movie--people will say Kentucky Fried Movie started it but Airplane was the hit that this type of comedy movie needed).

Honorable Mention: Monty Python and the Holy Grail(did not make it due to the ending).

Airplane! and A Fish Called Wanda would definitely be on my Top 3. There are so many great comedies that would vie for the third spot I cannot pick just one.

What interesting responses so far. I would imagine that the average age of most posters (to this point) in this thread is under 25!

I can't pick the 3 top, but here are 3 of my all-time favs.

Philadelphia Story
Murder By Death
The Producers
