Especially For TopBunk

1. It is the universal duty of Man to raise his personal dignity and to develop his moral and intellectual faculties to their utmost capacity, never to be contented with the degree of development already attained, but ever to press forward to higher attainments. We urge it, therefore, as a duty upon all those who hold the same convictions as ourselves to endeavour in all things to discharge their full duty as men, laying to heart the principles of Independence and Self-respect, as the leading tenets of moral life.

2. Whosoever perfectly realizes the principle of Independence, both of Mind and Body, and, paying due respect to his own person, preserves his dignity unblemished, \him we call a man of independence and self-respect.

3. The true source of independence of life is to eat one's bread in the sweat of one's brow. A man of independence and self-respect should be a self-helping and self-supporting man.

Dave, I can't find any for sale, but I know that people are racing those at the track for less than $20,000 a year, including supplies and the race car.

So..basically you are saying that when he puts on the clear corners, he should do the mods himself?

Street racing tests to see who is the dumbest risk-taker. If he wanted to take a REAL risk, he should go out into the real world and make something out of himself. Moving out of the house and living on his own for once would be more of a risk than street-racing. Big whoop. I can get my timing and press down on the peddle, too.

I'll take that bet...I bet he hates it because it has too many "ricers" in it and is not REALLY the way it IS.

BTW,
The fun has NOT left the forum!
Thanks TopBunk!

How would you explain that to your parents or friends?

What is really sad is that I live with my family and I am picking on him.

But I don't sleep on a bunk bed, nor do I have a kid, or blow all my money on ricers.

Just waiting til my friends lease is up to get a place with him.

Just don't want a case of pot and kettle.

Well... I think there is a limit beyond poking at Civic and trying to make a point, and just bashing on him. As I noted earlier, in case anyone is wondering, a large factor in letting this occur is that at no point is he asking us not to, and in fact, is the person who starts these threads, knowing what that will mean. Sure, he wants attention. We want humor. It's a win-win situation for everyone but his brother.

But still, we need to watch the "piling on."

Kinda the same here. I live with family and put away a large chunk of change every month for my house next year. Don't see me pissing it away on ugly, worthless, pathetic cars.

I just sold about 300 DVDs in order to pay for my 1987 Cutlass Supreme hybrid (it has a Plymouth engine in it).
