Actually, I just checked and NO, they don't have it but I know I have seen them so check around. Part 1 of the "replacement" thread had some links to other suppliers. Worth a shot.

just wondering if anyone has looked into hollywood video and that they have professional 'sheets' for warner snappers. i emailed hollywood about how they get them, if warner provides it or not, and how i can get my hands on some but they have yet to write me back. also, while not the moralist thing to do, i have pondered printing out a cover (without having to go to kinkos and using high quality paper) and then just renting the dvd from hollywood and doing a 'switch.' anyone thought of that or try it?

As an person, I say do what you have to do, but as an employee, I say we have enough jerks doing whatever they can to get something for free, and then blaming the store(via the employees) for thier problems. If you really want to do this, why not wait to buy the title pv, and get the cover for free with the disc at a discounted price?
(p.s. this has only been going on for the last two months or so, and ONLY for big title new releases, so this won't help you unless you own some of the newer releases.)

Actually, I work at Hollywood, and posted about this maybe 2 months ago. The first wave of these cases included See Spot Run, which had the snappers included for pv, but I don't think they are doing that anymore. So if you take the cover, you're going to mess up our pv's.

and i see your pint which is why i haven't done it but only thought about it. i would hope to be able to buy them either from a local store or they're hq. but if those don't pan out i guess i could buy the pv and get the sheet for free with it. i actually never thought of that. however from what i've seen hollywood's pv dvds are priced horribly. but since i refuse to buy more snappers it may be worth a few extra bucks on some titles.

When we get our rentals, there is the rental copy(in the case that has the locking bar on it and the rental cover, which you were talking about) rubber banded to an armoray case(which has the inserts in it), or in the case of the snappers like see spot run, a snapper case. The snapper cases went into a box and got put into a storeroom, so that when a movie went pv, we could take the movie out of the rental case and put it back in the snapper, shrink wrap it, and price it. That would have allowed us to take the cover out of the box and save it (for whoever asked.)
It doesn't appear that they are sending the original snapper cases anymore, so when we sell pv, we need to take the disc and cover, and put them in a alpha or armoray case(whatever we have) before we sell them. Lately we have been remiss in this, and just sold them in the rental cases.
I've purchased somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 pv's, and all of them have been in terrific shape. The prices are coming down, too. The packaging has been the only real drawback to buying the pv's but they're still not that bad. They're looking at a pv dvd sale, kinda like the sales that they're doing for vhs.
Whereas I was excited about the prospect of these cases being available for people to go in and ask for, It doesn't appear that they really are anymore because we aren't really getting the original snappers for each movie.

While I can't help with cover scans, I do have 47 Keep Cases (most are in great condition, a few have security sensors on the outside, and there are some [very few] double disc ones including the FORREST GUMP style case, and ones like what GLADIATOR came in, these were all going to be thrown out where I work, so my manager let me take them). I also have 26 PS2 Keep Cases as well if anyone is looking for those. Just e-mail me at [email protected]. I'm willing to do trades, or send them in exchange for the shipping cost.

I have the BACK TO THE FUTURE trilogy purchased in Hong Kong. They are in the jewel cases, and I would love to get scans to put them into keepcases. Can anyone provide them for me?
Thanks in advance

DVD Demo Disc Covers?
I have a copy of the Dolby Digital "We've got the whole world listening" Demo DVD Version 1.5 and would like a keep-case cover for it. (no scanner)
Has anybody already made a cover?
Thanks in advance!

Had to remove the link & images because of copyright imfringement warning.
Got the Godfather covers today from Hollywood Video. Asked for them & the gal at the counter made new covers with just the 'Godfather' in script with a HV background. Gave me the ones that were provided by the distributor.... HEEEE shots & scores!
