anyone know a good place to get a nice trilogy box set for these movies (not the 5 hour cut). i just saw departed, and while it was good i don't believe it was as good ast the original...so i would like to buy a nice version of the trilogy
|
You can get the three movies sans the 5 hour cut from dddhouse in one set:
http://www.dddhouse.com/v3/product_d...ProductID=4350 Otherwise, CD-Wow has the films available separately for $9.95 shipped. http://www.cd-wow.us/detail_results_...duct_code=4620 http://www.cd-wow.us/detail_results_...duct_code=8715 http://www.cd-wow.us/detail_results_...duct_code=9523 |
If you want the trilogy boxset, get this one:
http://www.dddhouse.com/v3/product_d...ProductID=4350 I bought this 6 disc set around two months ago. It's the same as the 8 disc set, except it doesn't have the 5 hour cut and the fancy box. It has the same movie discs and extra discs though. |
i don't know why ppl bother importing the HK and the korean sets when in fact the extras ae not subtitles in english.
import the UK tartan boxset, thanks. |

Anyway to get the 5hr cut along with the originals in one set? Thanks
|
I have the 4-disc tin which IIRC is OOP. HK Flix seems to have some in stock: http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID....qx/details.htm
At $50, it's not a bad deal at all. They're NTSC R0. |

Anybody have any ideas? |
The extras on the Mega Star discs aren't anything worth going out of your way for.

bump for some questions.
I am interested in this boxset, and here is what I would like. *The film's original language (if possible) *DTS would be a great bonus. *A reputable site that accepts paypal (I would like to use this, in conjunction to the $15 rebate) I have $40 in my paypal account now. Can I get what I am looking for at this price? barnesandnoble has this one, but I am not sure about the DTS, and it is also in Chinese. http://video.barnesandnoble.com/sear...19799591&itm=1 |

Just to let everyone know here, the 5 hour edit of the trilogy is not worth going all out of your way for.
It's a crudely edited version of all five films and not worth the effort to even see it really. |

Any word on where I can get it? I saw a Region 3 release, but I don't think that my player is region free. The HK "R3" releases aren't actually R3, they're really region-free. You can get them at CD-WOW for $9.95 each: http://www.cd-wow.us/detail_results_...duct_code=4620 http://www.cd-wow.us/detail_results_...duct_code=8715 http://www.cd-wow.us/detail_results_...duct_code=9523 |
