clarification/question/confusion: I just put in an order for 'Shaun' and it seems in order to get the £10.20 price you have also buy "Spaced": the combo deal, right? cause the Amazon listing still denotes the "Amazon" price as this

Amazon.co.uk lists a dispatch date of Sept. 8 for me. I don't know if that is accurate or not though. They do say it is an updated date, but I don't remember what it was prior to that.

AFAIK it is, but I didn't really research it and went with who ever had it up for preorder first.

That may be possible, I did order the Spaced collection at a different time but combined the orders a while back. They didn't say this was the reason in the email I just got today though.

Edit: Also the price of Spaced didn't change at all for me, I would think they would discount both of them.

I have noticed that sometimes Amazon is a bit slow on updating the prices on their site (as compared to in the order history)....maybe that is the problem?

well for one thing the whole combo deal really doesn't make any sense or difference in price, they are each £15.95 for 'Spaced' and £10.20 for 'Shaun' regardless if you buy one or both, go figure (whatever).

Just noticed that if you order the "Limited Edition Packaging" Shaun of the Dead from amazon.co.uk, the estimated shipping date is 9/12/04 - 9/19/04; if you order the regular edition, estimated shipping date is 9/06/04. As Giles said, "go figure."

Ok, I'm confused... I see both editions of Shaun on amazon uk listed at 11.99 pounds. So where does that 10.20 price come from?

Nevermind, the 10.20 price comes up when you go to checkout.

You actually have to put it in your basket, and right before you finalize your checkout, you will see where it says 10.20. (but with shipping it comes to 13.28)

I wonder when they will now ship from cd-wow? I haven't recieved an email from them yet.

I'm not going to reorder anywhere else since I only paid 17.00 for it with them.

FYI New Yorkers, Kim's Video on St. Marks had 5 copies of the R2 today for $24 (or 4 after I bought mine).

I should have been a bit more specific. my order says Pending Despatch and also pre-release.

I have never preordered from cd-wow before so do they ship after the release or before?

I pre-ordered this on 8/30 from CD WOW and I just noticed the region 3 SotD dvd now says 9/30 release date? I didn't get a date change message, but I thought the date change was on the R2 dvd? Crap I might as well cancel and wait for the R1 release.

I've never pre-ordered anything from CD-WOW before, but both my SoTD and SPACED - Definitive COllection are listed as "Pre-Release", it doesn't say Pending Dispatch anywhere.
