On 4/3 I ordered seven Russ Meyer movies. Six were shipped on 4/4 and one is supposed to be in stock by 4/8.

The box indicates these were sent from Honk Kong. Isn't CD Wow based in the UK? Are most discs made in HK?

They're a UK company, but they ship everything from Hong Kong I think.

Since my player has handled ten R2 discs I thought I was okay, but Spaced seems to be a bit pickier.

Guess I need to buy an all-region player.

Im assuming you have a region free player ?

If its a disc problem just contact cd wow. They have great customer service.

One time a disc didnt arrive and they had no more in stock so they gave me a refund on the spot (i was so impressed now I order most of my dvds from them ).

It's my player. It seems to handle everything but this.

I tried it in my Polaroid portable DVD player and it works great.

Actually I watched five episodes today and really enjoyed it. I think I'll watch the other two Thursday and check out the extras after that. Then I'll move on to season two.

CD-Wow is acting very strange lately. I tried to pre-order the Alexander limited edition, but got a cancellation message due to lack of stock. I tried to e-mail them explaining that it is a pre-order, so naturally they won't have it in, but they keep sending me the following canned response:

"Unfortunately we will not be receiving further stock of this product for the foreseeable future

Sorry for the disappointment caused by this - I sincerely hope it will not deter you from visiting our site again in the near future. "

Yet it's still on the site for pre-order! Odd...

Do you sign in to place orders? That gives some people trouble, especially when vouchers are used in tandem.
