If Warner uses the same print for RAN the French did with the recent SE (2DVD) plus subs....watch out....there will be l lot of upset R1 "Masterworks" owners!!

I was not implying that you HAVE to be upset but rather elaborating on the fact that people will be able to see a much improved picture quality, far superior than the Masterworks edition.

Yes..i agree....the same would also happen if R4 release 'Ran' using the Japanese Toho master....as they have with 'Seven Samurai' - using the Japanese Toho master and adding english subs etc.Originally posted by pro-bassoonist
