Movie Theater deals
Searched and couldn’t find a similar thread, seems like a thread spotlighting various cinema chain deals could be useful.
Regal is my only real theater within 20 miles, so I’ve been using their Crown Club membership card point system and their app for awhile now. The points add up fast, and the app gives you 20 bonus points every Wednesday just for opening it.
Twice in the last year they’ve had a deal where if you watch 4 specific films at Regal you get Vudu codes for all 4. The current promotion is with Blumhouse films, started in March and ends in October with the new Halloween.

I’ve done all of the Regal digital download deals (thanks to MoviePass). I think they have done this about 4 or 5 times now. You have to catch all four in order to get them, which isn’t always an easy task. This year they have only done one though, so I hope they’re not done with these deals.

Yeah, as I was discovering the app last year I would have had to stop at a different Regal near work to get one of the four, Mother!, but I had already missed the first one of the cycle so I didn’t bother.

I went to a Regal 90 minutes away from home for Breaking In . I was out of town for a work related matter, so I didn't go out of my way. Otherwise I would have missed it. One other time, I think I bought a cheap matinee in some other part of the country ($3-4?) because it was worth it to me.

Perhaps someone can figure out and record where the cheapest theaters are. I don't remember where I bought a ticket from. I just randomly went down a list of theaters in the chain looking for an inexpensive matinee.

Re: Movie Theater deals
If you guys have a B&B Theater in you area and sign up for Backstage Pass, you can get discounts on movies, popcorn and drinks on Tuesdays. You also accumulate points on all purchases made at any time. Tickets you purchase along with concessions turn into credit in your account. They also throw some free stuff into your account from time to time. The biggest savings is the 4D movies on Tuesdays are really cheap for the first couple of showings. Outside of those, the 4D is around 16 bucks plus tax.

Received my digital copy of Equalizer today.
Here's the next "See 4" promotion. Works like the previous ones regarding bonus points, popcorn & digital copies if you see all 4 beginning with The Spy Who Dumped Me in a few weeks.

There’s another Regal digital code deal running concurrently, just started last week with Mile 22 and Happytime Murders, a third film coming later that I forget.

Re: Movie Theater deals
Figured I’d link and describe a bunch of Regal deals, just as reminders and also in case the webpages disappear.
First, an early reminder to open the app every Wednesday for a free 20 points.
On September 1st, they are having a $5 per ticket Conjuring film marathon, with bonuses if you then later see The Nun.
https://www.regmovies.com/promotions/conjuring-marathon
On 9/13/18, a $5 popcorn drink combo if you see Mandy.
https://www.regmovies.com/movies/mandy/B00198008105
The Universal free digital copy promo still has one film pending, the new Halloween starting 10/19/18. Make sure you see it to get it and the earlier three.

The Lionsgate deal has the first film leaving theaters already, so see The Spy Who Dumped Me quickly if you want these four free digital titles later.
A Simple Favor - 9/14
Hell Fest - 9/28
Robin Hood - 11/21

And the third concurrent digital copy promo deal, STX studios.

Bump to make sure Regal customers are seeing Halloween to activate their 4 free digital copies.
There is also a newer similar Regal promotion from Sony; watch 3 and get them free digitally, Venom was/is the first film.

Re: Movie Theater deals
If you’re doing these Regal digital code deals, there are 8 or 9 active or debuting this week films in the queues. MoviePass is failing at just the wrong time.

Re: Movie Theater deals
For anyone doing the Regal bonus points/digital download deals, stay on top of it! I would even recommend going as far as to keep your ticket stubs. I saw Halloween as the fourth film to finish that set on 10/26 and was wondering where some of my digital copies were. I looked at my ticket history in the Regal app and see the ticket transaction, but where it normally lists the movie title it’s blank for Halloween. I contacted Regal and hope they can resolve this. I jump through all sorts of hoops to see these movies at Regal theaters so this is pretty annoying.
I saw Robin Hood today (also to complete that set) and the title doesn’t show in my Regal app history again. Yikes!
