It's logical you should've received your order before me.

Battle Royale is about to take place at my house.
Edit: I guess not, I just opened the box and no Battle Royale, they sent Knives Out in its place. I fucking hate Rian Johnson. They should have just put a godamn copy of the Dark Knight in there to really rub it in.

Not taking credit for noticing but it was mentioned on that other forum that on the side of the steelbook that opens, the words "first pressing" can be seen. I saw it on The Descent, Dogma, Battle Royale and House of 1000 Corpses.

That's cool.
I truly wish they would just press as many Steelbook or Limited Editions as necessary. I know that kinda defeats the purpose of "Limited", but I would rather everyone get a copy of the set that they want instead of the secondary market getting crazy high.
The Steelbook edition of the new Nightmare On Elm Street set is the perfect example. Basically, speculators and people who only wanted to sell it seemed to get the bulk of it and now you can't find that set for less than double or triple the MSRP. And I watched that damn thing like a hawk and never could catch one to pick it up.

Finished up Battle Royale today, The Descent two days ago. Hope they release Part 2 for both the same way.

If they do a LL release of BR2 I hope that they would use this as an opportunity to finally release the Revenge cut of the sequel, since that version has never gotten a release in the US. I'm not sure if it is an improvement over the theatrical cut, but I would still like to see it.
Out of curiosity I checked my copy of Apocalypse Now and it has "first pressing" stamped on it, so I guess it's neat that they were doing it from the beginning. I don't think that got a second printing.

I did pre-order it.
I like the movie and I had met Jordan Ladd at a local horror con. The photo I had her sign was from Cabin Fever. Okay okay, it was her bikini scene on the dock, but still. We had a nice conversation I bet she wasn't expecting. My ex-wife went to high school with her uncle Brian so we talked about him and her mom Cheryl.

Greenland never got a 4K disc release, I wonder if Lionsgate would do a two pack with the new movie as a Limited.

Greenland 2: Migration already has preorders up so who knows what the future may hold if the movie does well. Maybe a Greenland 3 is next then they can do a box set.

I watched it two years ago on Blu-ray
I could watch it again after several years.

As you said...that is some cover art. I imagine Kilmer's recent death is responsible for the Doors receiving this disc.

I haven’t seen The Doors in 25+ years. The only thing I really remember was Andy Warhol at a party with a gold telephone saying that God was on the other side of the line.

The cover has become less and less of a reason to purchase a certain movie. They don't have any other options with this release. Just leave off the slip, if it helps.

No artwork will keep me from purchasing a movie if I really want to own it.
But you hope someone, somewhere would read various comments here and there and make better choices for future releases. (That doesn't seem to be happening.

I would imagine some of these boutique labels get a lot of flack over cover choices. Even Arrow but at least they have reversible covers so you don't have to go with new artwork.
