(Like most folks I’m happy to support the Warner Archive’s work, but I’m grateful that a lot of their titles do work their way down to the +/- $11-12 point that they used to be in their sales (including a bunch I picked up at Amazon during the holidays), and the even deeper drops on Looney Tunes Vol. 1 in the last few months bodes well for the subsequent volumes, eventually. Volume 2 dipped, briefly, to $15.99 last week for the first time, which suggests it will eventually be subject to more and steeper sales, as will Volume 3 in the long haul.)

It's actually back down to $6.99 again. I must have missed it the last time.

Scooped one up. I doubt it would have gotten to $6 like the first one did since the 3rd volume comes out in 3 weeks,

I’m confident it’ll go lower and don’t mind waiting. But $11.49 isn’t bad for folks who want it now. Keep in mind, though, that the price drop on Vol. 1 wasn’t a one-time thing. It repeatedly dipped down to $6.99 - $7.99 over the course of a month or so. Vol. 2 might not hit that price range for a while yet, but I suspect it’ll get there.

EDIT: out of curiosity, I skimmed the posts to see the price trajectory of Vol. 1, for reference:

05/30 - released
06/26 - drops to $11.49
08/23 - $10.49
08/31 - $9.49
12/13 - $7.99
01/23 - $7.49
01/24 - $6.99

Seeing Vol. 2 at $11.49 so soon after release makes me wonder if we might see a pattern as time goes on.

Yeah, I do think there’s a pattern with these, as noted. I think I can wait it out.

Well, I ordered it at full price so the sales numbers will look good so you all can get it a reduced price.

You’re welcome 😎

Re: Looney Tunes Collector’s Choice from Warner Archive

I have a feeling Warner would’ve dropped the price on Vol. 3 regardless, and will as Vol. 2 works its way down to seven bucks or so. I’ve never been a believer in the “if we don’t buy it at full price, they won’t give us more” philosophy, except as purely a marketing tactic.

Unfortunately, the coupon is YMMV, it didn't show up for me.

It's a little box you have to click on on the product page. It's easy to miss.

Coupons aren't universal. Most believe it's tied to how many units remain at your local Amazon warehouse. It's an extra incentive for certain locales to shift inventory.

I finally bit at that price, though I know it will likely hit $8 at some point.

Re: Looney Tunes Collector’s Choice from Warner Archive

I’m betting on $6.99 eventually, like the first one, but $8-9 is still a decent price.
