The Office: The Complete Series - 11/10/20

Just listed on Amazon. Just listed on Amazon.

It looks like it’s coming directly from Universal rather than being licensed to Mill Creek as other recent series sets have been, but that may just be from Amazon’s preliminary entry.

Of course I did just buy the DVD set a couple months back. I don’t think I’ll upgrade unless it’s available for cheap at some point.

Re: The Office: The Complete Series - 11/10/20

I’m curious if they’ll be reusing the discs authored for the seasons that did get released, or if they’ll be reworked. Basically, I’m wondering if the otherwise-since-excised gag from that Christmas episode will be there or not.

My wife and I both have complete runs of the show on DVD/Blu-ray, and we’ll almost certainly pull the trigger again for this. It’s her favorite show of all time, so...

Might as well put this here. Un-aired cold opening

Ha! That was awesome.

Still not subscribing to Peacock. But I appreciate the free stuff like this.

Matching Target's Circle offer. Order from them with Red Card and get an additional 5% off.

Parks & Rec has a decent price too.

My point was that because of Cancel Culture, DVD's and BluRay's will be worth more in the future because that is the only way to watch those episodes that you will never see on TV or streaming ever again.

Well because this thread is specifically talking about the physical media release and prices. Not the actual content of the show. If you have some kind of gripe with what Comedy Central did, that should be addressed elsewhere.

Who is this Cancel Culture organization that has the power to call Comedy Central and put pressure on them? Do they have membership dues?

You know the answer since you made the same point in a less politically incendiary way in this same post.

...although "Diversity Day" does still appear to be streaming on Peacock, and the episode is still available on digital platforms like Prime Video. Posting when an episode of a TV show is pulled is appropriate. I certainly wouldn't have pulled "Diversity Day", which is my favorite episode of the first season and the ep that really got me hooked on the show.

FWIW, Comedy Central hasn't been airing "Diversity Day" for a while now. (At least 8 months?) This isn't even the first ostensibly-full-run-of-The-Office marathon where it's been skipped. I can't find any indication of meaningful pressure being applied to Comedy Central to stop airing this episode, and looking at communities like /r/dundermifflin, this is barely being discussed.

OK, I will revise my original post that was deleted. I want to put all WOKE people who continue to ruin TV shows from the past in camps! Round them up!

Is it there in Vudu? What season? I just got into show. Only few eps in but loving it. The stuff they did in S1 would never fly today. Holy shit. The ep where the all take on an ethnicity or religion. Stanley with the black label. So funny, dry, but not at all appropriate. That’s why, I guess this and original British, so popular snd border classic series’.
