GKIDS is screening Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (4K restoration) in select theaters next month (June 23 - 24, 26). This is first proper U.S. theatrical run in 20 years. Initial limited theatrical run (sub only) was handled by Go Fish Pictures.
GKIDS only has theatrical rights. It's unclear if Crunchyroll still have home video rights (BD/DVD was released under Funimation). 4K UHD was released in Japan, but it has been reported to be subpar (as in better off sticking with BD). 4K UHD has also been released in Germany and Spain (unsure of quality).

Went with the Man Who Fell to Earth 4K and made a bundled order with The Surfer and High Tension 4Ks.
