We had to turn up the sound way up too, but I've noticed that for the last few Blurays we've watched (Hobbit theatrical versions particularly). I'm beginning to wonder if I set the dynamic range compression on the player or something, I need to get in there and fiddle around with it.
But it looked great, and it holds up on repeat viewings.

Watch the blu-ray last night and the picture were very good. Sound should have been a little louder I agreed. Bonus material were all right like anyone said should have included the trailers and maybe a gag or blooper reels.

Can someone explain the digital code to me? Does that let me download a digital copy of the movie that I can put on my phone and watch offline while I'm traveling or whatever? Or does it just enable me to stream it through an app?

I believe they can be watched on Vudu or Amazon as well as the Disney Movies Anywhere app.
I think the code also lets you get an Itunes copy as well.

If you redeem through Disney Movie rewards (which I highly suggest everyone does when redeeming Disney releases), the digital will port to both UV and iTunes. And while the extras didn't port over to Vudu, they did on DMA iTunes. The Vudu and DMA app will allow streaming and downloading. Probably the others as well.

So if I can play it on Vudu, I can actually download it? I want to be able to put it on my phone so I can watch it on a plane while travelling or somewhere where I do not have access to wi-fi.

What did everyone think of the 70-minute documentary?
I assume it's pretty good, being that it's the only big bonus feature in the set.

It's just okay. Nothing super in-depth and a little too self congratulatory for my taste. I'd have loved to see more fly-on-the-wall stuff like we got from The Phantom Menace documentary.
They never delve into any of the behind-the-scenes drama like Ford's injury and Lucas walking away from his role as creative consultant. There is a brief mention of Fisher having difficulty on set. Either some digital trickery was done or the majority of her part got re-shot, because all the on-set footage shows Leia with a giant ponytail draped over her left shoulder.

Finally watched it. I enjoyed it a lot. I wish they'd gone for about a 2-hour doc with all the material they had. The 70 minutes just flies by.
Also think the table read featurette should have been quite a bit longer.

Did anyone pick up the BB8 cover from wm? If so how much was it compared to the regular version? Went to 5 Walmarts and they all had the giant BB8 display and the falcon display, but never found the exclusive version.

It was $19.99, same as regular. It was kind of weird with BB8 kind of popping out in a fold out cover, held shut with Velcro. Unfolding it like a Christmas card to show a view of good guys on one side, bad guys on the other. You didn't miss much

I actually looked to see if those Target exclusives were posted a couple days ago. Must have just have been just a day or two early. Thanks for saving us the money.

I found it very disappointing. Not one single mention or hint about Harrison's leg break on the set. It's a complete puff piece. The Deleted scenes are disappointing as well. Both of those are why I still haven't finished watching the rest of the Features. From what I can tell just a whole lot of meh.
