Will this be in stores? These days, brick & mortars don't tend to stock the newer double-dips, especially when they still have a bunch of the original on hand.

The rear cover art was posted in this thread a couple days ago, but that post was deleted (as was my response to it? What the hell?)

Yup, you're right. Based on pack shots and reports from that other forum, UHD has Atmos. Blu-ray has 7.1 only.

Extra scene at JPL where Rich asks his boss for super computer time.
Big extra scene of Mark finishing the mission experiments.

Personally I'm equally interested in both. But admittedly I don't have to weigh if it's worth buying again. If anybody already has the first release it's a tougher call.

Found the extended edition today at Best Buy for $14.99
Also includes $7.50 Fandango Movie Cash towards Miss Peregrines home for Peculiar Children or The Birth of a Nation.
That's a great deal. I picked it up right away.

BTW :The Movie Cash version doesn't have the slipcover, but they were cool with me swapping over the previous Extended Edition slipcover on the Movie Cash edition

Are any of the little extras I'd lose on the regular version interesting, or do you basically get most of what you need from the new extended cut?

Does anyone know why the digital copy of the extended edition on Vudu, at least, have the hour + long making of doc at only 25 minutes? Why wouldn’t they put whole thing? Sometimes they can be broken up into parts on Vudu, but this is just 1 25 minute part as near as I can tell...
