Bit the bullet and paid the damn $38 for The Long Halloween. I was hoping the price would go down, but it hasn't budged on Amazon or Best Buy.

Don't hold me to it but I think those more expensive animated UHDs will fall in price over the next two months. Or not, it does not seem like WB is manufacturing huge quantities of the UHDs like their BD counterparts.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films
I've usually been able to get the animated UHDs for cheap on eBay -- even very close to release -- but Long Halloween does seem like it's bucking that trend. It's also not on sale at GRUV (unlike the individual halves on BD), which makes me wonder if it's maybe being handled by the MOD side of things.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films
The deluxe edition of The Long Halloween is just the two parts as one movie and some new features right?

If I remember correctly, you may actually lose a couple bonus features with the single UHD edition.

I have the two parts individually on Blu-ray and I think that’s good enough for me. Doubt I’ll buy the new version. To me where the split happens is a natural stopping point and a good break.
I actually thought the two parts were a tad slow moving even though I enjoyed the adaptation as a whole. I’m not sure if I’d want to watch the whole thing all in one sitting.

I’m an OCD completist, so could be biased, but I swear that no BD or UHD “upgrade” is ever fully complete. There is almost always something not carried over.

Must have been a pricing error (which makes sense) because this price is now $100.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films
I already had five of them and still took the deal, because it worked out to like 27 cents a movie (or 32 cents a movie for me if you take off the five I already owned). I'm glad I didn't hesitate on pulling the trigger, because they bumped it back up to $100 pretty quickly. There was a bundle of DC LEGO movies on sale as well for $8, but I passed on that one, as those are a little TOO "kiddie" for my tastes, even at that price.

Even at $3 bux a movie, it isn’t bad, but kudos to those who got the deal mistake.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films
I watched Injustice the other day and thought it was pretty enjoyable. I was kinda surprised at the review and hate I found for it after watching it. Granted, I wasn't very familiar with the comics or the game it came from so maybe that was why.
Kinda surprised that with all the Batman movies and comic adaptations, they haven't adapted Knighfall yet.
