Just got a delay email for Judas Contract SteelBook from Target and not available in any stores near me. What's up with that?

It's delayed.

Check Brickseek, the DPCI is 058-30-1077. As of right now, there appears to be some in my area, hopefully they are still there by lunch time. We shall see, hopefully this rain lightens up some (hate driving around in that mess for a darn movie :)).

Stopped at my local Target here in MN when they opened up. No new movies had been put out, so I asked the guy to check. He scanned the shelf label and went to the warehouse. He came back with the steelbook for me, so I was fortunate not to run into any big problems getting one.

Brickseek shows four in stock for me but I can't make it to Target until after work tonight. Hopefully I can get one.

For anyone interested, Target.com has a few copies of the hardcover graphic novel + Blu Ray + Digital HD of The Dark Knight Returns (Complete) available for shipping for $19.99. This is long out-of-print and a nice collection.

Funny that the Judas Contract is finally out after it was included in the original announcement for these DC animated movies so many years ago.

I guess Target changed their perk system. Instead of a free movie $19.99 and under, it's now $10 off any movie. So I ended up paying $6.99. That kinda sucks.

Same here, I guess they thought themselves being too nice despite the fact that you now have to spend $500 to get $10 back. But $20..too generous.

Anyway, of all days I had a meeting today that ran until noon...and I didn't get the car until roughly 12:30 (single car family atm). So I check Brickseek and its either Memorial City Mall OR the one at Eldridge/Westheimer. I've never had luck with the latter, so I go with the Memorial City Mall, about 15 minutes away. I get there and re-check Brickseek, down to ONE COPY. I practically run to the back when I get there and sure enough, that one copy. Of course the wife asked for a coconut vanilla latte on the way back, but I got the steelbook, thank goodness.

Apparently there was a delay with the media shipments to the Targets on the East coast. Mine is supposed to get the Judas Contract tomorrow morning.

Luckily I was able to snag the last copy of The Judas Contract.

Several Target managers confirmed this yesterday. They had a call from the main offices telling them about some delays in products including the Judas Contract. My store had it today in the mid morning. They received only 4 steel books and 2 with the action figure

Eh, mine shipped today so should have it soon. Easy...

Anyone wanna bet that the Batman And Harley movie ends up being R rated? As even the new Justice League Dark movie was

Batman And Harley Quinn - Rated PG-13 for sexual content, language, violence and action, and for rude humor.

It will probably be on the level of Assault on Arkham, pushing that envelope but not quite.

I had a Teen Titans: Judas Contract on pre-order, but bought a copy as an extra just in case someone here needs one at cost. I'll return it otherwise.

Anyone see Judas Contract yet? How is it? How compare with other DC animated?

I loved it, although admittedly it strays significantly from the source material. But it's one of the better DCAU films (damning with faint praise, I realize).

Yeah, it's okay if you have never read the source material; which is arguably the best TT story arc ever written.

My friend who is a huge TT fan said it was total shit.

I've liked more of the DCAU films than I've disliked. Still need to watch this one and Justice League Dark though.

Watched Judas Contract last night and thought it was cool. I have not read the source material, though.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

I thought the general feeling was that the DCU animated films were better than the live-action films.
