Can't say I'm too excited about this one.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

I think the trailer for Justice League: Dark looks great personally. I've really been liking most of the recent animated output.

While I didn't bother with the ole Caped Crusaders one, I am certainly back on track for JL: Dark (in Target Steelbook of course). I do like the R nod for features occasionally but hopefully it's sporadic and they don't do it for every Batman and JL. And I don't mean the complete other direction with homage to Adam West & Co. Somewhere in the middle would be awesome.

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders is on sale at Target this week for $15. I picked up the steelbook on Monday when they still had the 15% off promo going. For $12.75, I'll give it a shot.

Justice League Dark Target-Exclusive Steelbook is up for preorder for $16.99. Free shipping for some weird reason.

That looks like it'll be a cool Steelbook. I'll definitely be grabbing my copy at Target.

Watched JLD tonight and it was pretty cool. Here's hoping they do more JLD animated features - they translate really well to the animated format.

I have this pre-ordered at the ole Target and glad to hear that. I've been really excited for JLD ever since I have seen the information about it. Can't wait.

Yeah...that beginning really got me since I don't know a thing about JLD. People were saying the comic is really good. Now I'm interested.

Got shipping notice on Justice League Dark SteelBook. Not too bad for $18+ and free shipping.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

Damn the Target ad has Justice League Dark listed at $24.99 for the Steelbook exclusive. That's a pretty hefty increase considering that the others I believe were between like $16-$18. I didn't pre-order as I typically don't have a problem getting them on release week but didn't expect it to be that much.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

Target ad likely has the wrong picture next to the $24.99 price.

$24.99 for the deluxe set (with the figure) online:

http://www.target.com/p/justice-leag...l/-/A-52057931

$16.99 for the steebook only online:

http://www.target.com/p/-/A-52057973

If the shelves are marked incorrectly just show them their own site.

It's $16.99 in my print ad and in the link I posted above.

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

Seems to be at least two different weekly ads out there. One that is correct ($16.99) and one that is incorrect ($24.99).

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

Good stuff, hope my order ships tonight or tomorrow from Target. I keep trying to bring up Order Status and it won't come up, just keeps spinning after I put in the order email. Bugs me a tad to say the least. Hopefully it's a non-event and I see this in my hands by the end of the week.

Maybe Crusaders wasn't part of that series? Seemed like a standalone...

So was The Killing Joke. But that said, ignoring Caped Crusaders could have been deliberate. Not exactly one of the best of the bunch.

And it could have been that the grittiness and R rating were the tie between those 2...

Re: DC Animated Universe Films

I'll pick this up but one thing that bothers me from the reviews is that it sounds like its basically a Batman centric story. Batman is my favorite character but honestly DC kind of uses him as a crutch at times.

Everything I read says it's Constantine centric and Batman is hardly in it.
