I hope the first picture is the real actual artwork for the standard Blu-ray release.

Based on the previous Marvel Blus, extras will likely be pretty sparse, probably a commentary a few featurettes.

Starting to think there are features, but they are all being held for a big box set of the recent round of Marvel films. Could be a big promotion leading up the Ultron movie.

Does BestBuy have any pre-order price guarantee? Or would it be locked into the paying $27.99 if the prices lowers at all?

The US version might be a little different with the title on the spine and on the front where it says"Stereo". The UK and German Steels look like the above.

Other info I have gathered from his twitter...
-There will be a lot of deleted scenes, with optional commentary by him.

-There will also be a making of feature, Gag reel, director's commentary & exclusive Avengers 2 preview

-There will not be a One shot. He said there's "literally no room" for it on the disc because he's cramming so much content on there. :lol:


He said the 2D disc will not have a shifting ratio.

...So you're ok, as long as you don't have a constant height 3D set up. :D

I just upgraded to a 3D pj this week. The trailer for GotG on the Winter Soldier disc is some of the best 3D I've seen so far.

I'll pick up the 3D release, but it's going to be annoying to watch most of the film with letterbox bars.
I may have to dig the manual out and see how well the blanking feature works.

A little sad the 2D version won't have shifting ratios too; not a huge deal, but I actually like that. Glad the rest of the disc is packed, but bummed there's no One Shot again.

That BB Steelbook only mentions 3D BD. So, does that mean there won't also be a 2D disc included?

I think it's just an early listing. The Thor and Capt. America 3D steel books had both versions. The only recent 3D only release was a Best Buy exclusive of The Hobbit Unexpected Journey Extended Edition, but that was a much longer movie that required multiple discs.

I`m assuming on articles about it online that it won`t be able through Amazon and only at independent music stores. I checked out the list of stores; luckily there are a couple near me.

Would we know about all of the store exclusives by now? It seems usually these higher tier catalog titles have pre-orders for exclusives in advance. I'm contemplating pre-ordering it from Disney Movie Club, the only thing that would change that is if I knew their were going to be any store exclusive features.
