This release doesn't seem that loaded, as far as features go. Seems a bit better then recent Marvel releases, but still sounds a bit disappointing based on this review.

God. Remember when comic book-superhero DVDs (Especially the 2-Disc ones) always had those documentaries/featurettes that delved into the history of comic-book characters? Stuff like Legends of the Dark Knight and The World's Greatest Comic Magazine. Very informative stuff. There were also those that contained artist-rosters like Army of One: Punisher Origins and, my most favorite one of all, The Men Without Fear.
I'm really missing those...Badly. And it would've been a blast to have one cover (The fairly unknown) GOTG history. Oh well. It seems like this all vanished ever since Disney took over.

I guess this is also the end of the Marvel One-Shots. Just when they were gaining momentum....

There's talk over at blu-ray.com that BB didn't allocate any to the stores and they are all sold out. The only ones at the store on release day will be pre-orders. I don't think it's true but that's what someone is posting.

Best Buy and Amazon have the 1 disc version for $14.99. That's what a new BD release should be priced at nowadays.

I can believe it given the demand for that package. And even if the stores did have copies on the shelves, you know they would be snagged up by the first few people in the store. One can imagine this one will fetch a nice price on ebay and the like.

Looking at eBay, they're already selling for prices in the $40-60 range. That'll more than likely go up soon, especially if they are already completely sold out.

Didn't the director say he reason they weren't including a One-Shot story is because the release was going to packed the edge with extras? Figures.

What MCU BR has been released since Thor Dark Word?
EDIT: Oh, yeah, Winter Soldier. There wasn't a one-shot on that disc, so I think that's it.

What I thought might be true is that there were One Shots only available online. Turns out if there are only 5 I have all of them on BD. Like I posted before, throughout the discussion about them I it seemed like there must be more out there. If not, great, I have caught them all.

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy --> 12/9/14

The only ones worth watching are All Hail The King on the Thor 2 BD and Agent Carter on the IM3 BD. The other 3 are neat, but nowhere near as good as the two mentioned. ESPECIALLY AHTK. I really really really want them to followup on that one cuz it was fucking tease of teases.

Was it a tease or a attempt to shut up the fanboys screaming "BUT THE MANDARIN IS REAL!"

FWIW, the upcoming Best Buy ad does have it included, so I actually think they will have it.

Who wants to bet the Groot cover will be sold out by the end of the week next week and will start popping up on Ebay?

I wouldn`t be surprised. The cassette soundtrack was on ebay the day it was released and some of the bids started at $100.

The Final for one my classes Tuesday isn't until 4pm, so I'm going to try for one of those Best Buy Steelbooks. If I can't get one, I'm fine with one of the regular releases.

Great reviews for audio and video. A little light on the extras though.
