Yeah, but it's all blurry and you can barely tell what movie it is.

Nope, it's clear. Here's a scaled down screen grab of the top of the back.

Ours is not to wonder why.

I WISH dvdprofiler gave you covers that clear. The only covers I've found for this movie are tiny little pictures from people selling this on ebay, or in listing on websites, that would be even worse when enlarged to the dvdprofiler size.

I don't have the money to get the HQ covers from dvdprofiler. With very few exceptions, cdcovers.cc is great. But they don't have this.

You said you wanted the cover pics to put into DVDProfiler. They are already there, that's where my screen grab came from. They are good quality.

What are you really wanting to do?

Re: X-Men First Class Blu Cover

I want an HQ cover to put into dvdprofiler. That's it. But you don't get HQ covers like that unless you pay money. The pictures that dvdprofiler gives you are probably not much bigger than my thumb.

And I can't find an HQ cover for the blu-ray of Exorcism Of Emily Rose, either.

Wtf are you talking about? I must not know much about DVD profiler but why would you need to spend money getting for an image of a HQ cover? Do you have to pay a membership or some bs to get access to full element access or what?

Also how the hell does your scanner suck enough to not get a good image?

Re: X-Men First Class Blu Cover

You have to buy a registration key to unlock being able to download HQ covers in dvdprofile. It's 30 dollars to buy it. And I don't have a scanner.

Re: X-Men First Class Blu Cover

So to add on. The Cow already said that his image was from the site. So I guess they already have one of it on there. Soooo what's the point now?

Re: X-Men First Class Blu Cover

He can't see the HQ version cuz he won't pay for the DVDProfiler registration. He can only see the fuzzy wuzzy version.

Re: X-Men First Class Blu Cover

Soooo from what I'm getting from this is that DVD Profiler already has an HQ cover to see. But only via access to the membership. And the OP wants an HQ cover to put on DVD Profiler. Even though they already have one?

I'm still confused as to why he'd want to put his own HQ cover if the site already has one. What's the end result for the OP?

He doesn't want to pay the one-time membership fee. So saving a few bucks is the end result the OP seeks.

Yeah. 30 dollars seems a bit expensive for something so simple.

This thread is one of the most wonderfully pointless moments here in the HD side.

I do NOT have OCD! I have CDO! It's OCD with the letters in alphabetical order, the way they're suppose to be!

Re: X-Men First Class Blu Cover

Let me see if I can make sense of this. The o/p has DVDProfiler and wants high-res scans of disc cover art, but doesn't want to pay the DVDProfiler membership fee to access those high-res scans. So he wants someone to provide a high-res scan of this disc's case art that he can manually add to his DVDProfiler collection.

Does he do this for every single movie he owns? Or is there something special about X-Men: First Class (a movie he claims he hasn't even seen) that he really wants this one in high-res but can live with the rest of his collection in low-res thumbnails?

It's a conundrum.

Especially since a few seconds of Googling could have brought him to this:

No. He wanted this one

I'm still mindfucked about why this is a big fucking deal for the OP.

To be fair, I don't think he ever made it a big deal. He just asked a simple question and the thread blew up and got derailed almost immediately. I think if he'd posted this in the covers subforum, no one would have blinked twice.

Yes, I do it for every one of my movies. And with very few exceptions, I can find the covers that I'm looking for.

And I've seen that cover. It's not the one I'm looking for.

I thought about posting it there, but I wanted people to actually see it and maybe answer.

What turned it into a big deal was that he said he wanted a hi-res cover, then said right after how the movie was probably a piece of crap. Had he simply stated what he was looking for and left it at that, this wouldn't have turned into 3 pages. But yeah, the covers subforum is where threads go to die.
