glad to see the US getting some SteelBook action ... preordered!

Will probably just get the Regular 2D version at some point.

I hope the stacking of discs, like in Captain Phillips, doesn't become standard for Best Buy steelbooks. It would suck not to be able to get this one, THG and Catching Fire.

Whichever is cheapest, I'll pick up.

I'll grab whatever cheap 2D version is out there.

I've got some Amazon gift cards, but am liking the Loki cover. Will probably pick that up depending on price.

I pre-ordered the regular 3D because the 2D cover is so awful that I can't bear to have it in my home.

3D steelbook is only $22.99 next week at Best Buy.

Doesn't look like they will include the dvd with the blu-ray. I guess the combo blu/dvd set is coming to an end.

So, one release doesn't have a DVD and thus "the combo blu/dvd set is coming to an end"? Personally, I couldn't care less, waste of material since I have no use for them anyway.

They're probably going to start phasing them out hey won't go away overnight, but this probably the start of it.

The digital copy outlived the DVD.

And I still don't know one person who uses the dc.

I doubt I'll get it but that Loki slip cover from Target is pretty nice looking.

I'll end up getting the 2D version at some point in the future when I find it cheap.

Unfortunately, that exclusive Loki slipcover from Target will probably be damaged by those coffin things they stick their blu-rays in.

If they don't throw out the slipcover before they put it in the coffin...

I used to not care about them 'til I got an iPad. I'm still kinda pissed some of mine expired and I never redeemed them even just for the sake of redeeming them. TDK was one of them too.

One thing about movie shot digitally, they sure tend to look and sound sunning on BR transfers. Sounds like some cool extras too. I'll probably pick it up down the road when he price goes down, but it looks like the price for most Marvel flicks has been fairly consistently high lately. Whatever. Anyway, nice to know its a good release. Good review Adam, as always.

Was it ever available? I've been checking since a few weeks ago and it was always blacked out, though they changed the status from unavailable to sold out online.
