Mark Frost - Mr. Buzzkill. He was the first to shoot down the rumors of a revival as well.

Frost is beginning to become the George Lucas of the Twin Peaks realm. "Nope, nothing happening - ever!"

Ray Wise says otherwise:

“Yeah, we [shot the promo for the Blu-ray] two days ago,” Wise tells Fango. “It’s been done. I don’t know if I was supposed to leak that to anybody, but yeah, we did it and I’m not at liberty to say what was done. I can say that it’s going to be a big surprise.”

Re: Twin Peaks - Series & Fire Walk With Me

David Lynch has confirmed the series is coming to blu-ray, with unreleased footage, but it may not contain Fire Walk With Me.

I really hope it comes with the film. The cinematography on that is so fantastic. I need it in HD.

If that's the case, the unreleased footage is probably from the series, and not the legendary FWWM deleted scenes.

I really hope that the movie is part of the set even though I'll still buy it without it.

I really don't think that they'll ever release a Blu-ray or even an SE Blu-ray of FWwM if they don't release it this time.

Re: Twin Peaks - Series & Fire Walk With Me

For what it's worth, Welcome to Twin Peaks just put something on their facebook page saying "reliable sources" claim FWWM will in fact be included. I clicked the link though, and it just showed the page I already sourced here with no new info. So who knows. I can't imagine it won't include the movie, although saying "the pilot, season one, and season two" is an oddly specific way of phrasing an announcement.

I wouldn't treat any statement that Lynch makes as gospel; when he's asked questions, he tends to be less than effusive.

We'll have to wait for an official announcement before we know for sure.

Agreed. I love the show enough where I'll still get it if the movie isn't included (I can always import it), but if they're going all out with this release, I'd like to see what they do with FWWM, assuming they are able to license it...

Well, he didn't even confirm deleted scenes - he said there would be some things that haven't been seen before, which may just be new interviews.

Knowing Lynch, it'll probably be a new half-hour featurette where one of his dipshit interns records him making another lamp (a real thing on the UK release of Lost Highway).

The featurette on the DVD set with him, Kyle MacLachlan and Madchen Amick discussing the show in a coffee shop was pretty cool.

That was a long time ago, unfortunately. Try suffering through the rambling, incoherent "Lynch One" documentary (available on DVD, or as a supplement on the UK Blu-ray of Eraserhead) to see where his head's at these days.

INLAND EMPIRE was all I needed to know Lynch has gone off the deep end. God, I feel like I'm STILL sitting through that movie.

You are. It turns out that we're all just figments of Lynch's psychogenic fugue.

Luckily for us, Ray Wise yet again can't seem to keep his mouth shut and says the blu-ray set will include FWWM, along with the deleted scenes from it.

No. Someone spoiled Agatha Christie for me, no. Use spoiler tags.

Re: Twin Peaks - Series & Fire Walk With Me

The HD episodes looked fantastic on Netflix. If this includes FWWM and the legendary deleted scenes, then this is easily a day one purchase.

Oh, I agree completely. This, along with the 1966 Batman series, is my most anticipated release this year.

Getting to watch new footage or the infamous deleted scenes on the 25th anniversary of the show is an amazing way to get diehards to pony up for this release day one.
