Is there any market for the various DVD sets? Maybe I'll unload mine, as I'm sure I won't be able to resist buying these in HD someday.

Not too surprised about Twin Peaks given the previous rumors and Amazon's streaming option, but my body and wallet are ready nonetheless.

Awesome news. I hope he's not wrong about the X-Files being the complete series. I'd rather buy it that way instead of replacing the dvd's season by season.

I know Lynch personally selected and oversaw the clean-up work on 17 deleted scenes that were set for the MK2 release on DVD a while back. I'd assume that since MK2 owns the rights to FWWM, any licensing deal they've worked out would also include that footage. I am dying to see as much of it as possible.

He's been posting about Twin Peaks and X-Files for years. Let hope this time he's right.
Yesterday at the X-Files panel would have been the perfect time to announce it, of course.
Twin Peaks has been rumored for years...even back in the HD DVD days.
A lot of this stuff is being remastered for Streaming reasons, so dumping it on Blu-ray to recover some costs is a great idea.

I hope this ends up being true. I have yet to buy the Gold Box and I'd wait longer if I knew this was (for sure) around the corner.

There sure was a market for the postcards that came with the set. I Remeber getting like $80 for the 12 postcards that came with the set.

I will unload my Gold Box set. I'm sure it'll still fetch enough to pay for the BD.

Later, Lynch convinced MGM to do this for the Blue Velvet deleted scenes, and that footage looks terrific.
Strangely, Lynch was perfectly happy to release the deleted scenes from Wild at Heart in absolutely terrible workprint quality as part of his "Lime Green Set" DVD box. I guess he doesn't care about Wild at Heart as much as he does Twin Peaks or Blue Velvet.

That's reasonable, given that Wild at Heart isn't nearly as good as Twin Peaks or Blue Velvet.
I assume you all know that Netflix (and maybe Amazon, as someone mentioned it above) has Twin Peaks in HD and that it looks fantastic.
