No deleted scenes?
How about a feature called: Shitting On A Legacy: How JJ Abrams Ruined Star Trek ?

Would love the Phaser set, but the price will be to high for me.
But, loved the movie and will pick it up 1st day.
I hope they make at least one more, their 1st alien encounter on their 5 year mission. Of coarse is will not go well, then they make peace with them at the end, more like Gene R would want.

The movie has so far grossed about $400 million worldwide. That's an improvement over the 2009 film (which topped at $385 million), but is still considered a bit of a disappointment because it cost $50 million more to make than the last one. Nevertheless, it will be profitable and there will undoubtedly be a third entry in this reboot series.
Since Abrams is now signed on to direct Star Wars, and since he never really gave a shit about Star Trek in the first place, he'll Executive Produce the next sequel, which means that he'll hire one of his friends to direct (probably Matt Reeves) and then walk completely away from it.

It says that toy is at 1:50 scale. Either that's a huge toy or Starships are a lot smaller than the films suggest.

It's the same design that IDW uses on their graphic novels that tie in with the movies.

so what's the deal with the shifting aspect ratio of the IMAX shot scenes - are all the bluray editions in 2.40 (throughout)?

That Wal-Mart exclusive is tempting, although I loathe to ever give money to Wal-Mart.
Ah, screw it. Ordered.
