Re: How many 3D Blu-Rays do you have?

I have 44 3D discs so far, with a few on pre-order, like Titanic, Avengers and Amazing Spider-Man.

But I don't have a 3D set yet. I came close to picking up the Sony VW95ES projector last fall, but couldn't pull the trigger since I had recently replaced my bulb in my VW50. Now 1500 hours later on the bulb, I'm waiting to see the new models coming out this fall. But, I am stocking up on good deals on the 3D movies while I am waiting. Fry's has sales every few weeks where I've been getting top titles for around $17 or so.

if you can get beyond the overbearing environmental message/tone of 'Grand Canyon: River at Risk" - the 15/70 IMAX 3D photography equals 'Tahiti's wow factor.

Unintentionally, a couple. But none I can watch since I don't have a 3D setup.

none. most 3d presentations have bothered me, except for Spider Man and then I heard everyone complian there were no real effects. That might be why I didn't notice it

Re: How many 3D Blu-Rays do you have?

I actually liked the 3D in Tron Legacy- it has a lot of dark scenes but if you have your TV adjusted properly that isn't a problem. My Sharp's 3D glasses are dark, so I had to set the picture brighter in 3D mode to compensate. I intentionally got a TV with active 3D rather than passive because I could see scan lines on passive sets, making them look like my old CRT.

The Glee 3D Concert looks very good, my only complaint with that is the 2D cut-ins of the show's fans talking, and many of the songs were cut short and the whole movie is too short on top of that.

And this thread should have been aimed just towards those who actually have 3D capability at home or at least care about it- if you don't have a 3D setup and don't care about it, obviously your answer will be "none" or close to it.

the fans waxing poetic gets tired - fast, just shut up and take us back to the concert.

Re: How many 3D Blu-Rays do you have?

Just Hugo. I don't even have a 3D TV or projector, but the price was the same as the 2D version a few weeks ago, so I picked it up.
Also, I'll likely buy Prometheus in 3D, just because.

Re: How many 3D Blu-Rays do you have?

I won't be interested in a 3D BD movie till I can watch 3D at home w/o the glasses.

Were I to have one..i'd have the ones that really only matter so far.

Re: How many 3D Blu-Rays do you have?

I have like 3 or 4, but I don't have an 3D TV. The only reason I have the ones I do is because they're all Disney flicks that had coupons that made them cheaper than the non-3D versions.

Probably like 7 or 8. I don't have a 3D TV but I usually get the version that comes with the most discs.

Re: How many 3D Blu-Rays do you have?

I have around 43. My list pretty much matches those others who have around 40 or so. I have Titanic, Avengers and Prometheus on order to bump me up to 46.

I started buying them before I had a 3D television knowing that someday I would probably own a 3D television.

Re: How many 3D Blu-Rays do you have?

Wow and I thought I had a lot at 20. They look just so so good on my tv! I would probably have more if they were a bit more affordable.

On another note, I didn't even know Pirhana 3DD was already on 3dbr! And only 15 on Amazon, will have to see if I can get that for the OHMC.

24:

Spoiler:

Beauty and the Beast
Brave (pre-ordered)
Captain America Steelbook
Coraline
Green Lantern
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2
Hugo
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Immortals Steelbook
Kung Fu Panda
Kung Fu Panda 2
Lion King
Lorax
Monster House
Open Season
Piranha
Puss in Boots
Resident Evil: Afterlife
Rio
Tangled
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Tron: Legacy
Wrath of the Titans Steelbook

This last BB sale prompted me to get a few that I probably would have waited on, but for only $5 more than the regular version, I thought I'd plan for the future.

BTW, I don't have a 3D player/TV either.
