Never have you posted a pic of your entire collection whether it be in bins or on a shelf. Where is the collection pictures?
Say what?

I don't see why anyone would save 10 of them sealed unless you were going to sell them later as some sort of collectible. Otherwise, seems as much of a dickish move as flipping them on EBay right away.

To some collectors movies are not meant to be watched no more. They are meant to be sealed and, for display only

For display for whom to look at? Is anyone going to xage's house and saying ,
" wow man, you have an amazing collection of sealed bluray movies on your shelf. What are we going to watch tonight?"

Re: The Avengers - 3D Blu Ray metal case.

if it was Robert Auld, then I too got that copy and he is only a Director not VP (if we both have the same contact).

Unfortunately I parted ways in collecting "DVD" steelbook (except Dark Knight and 300) and moved to collect every North American Blu Ray Steelbooks (g1 size & g2 size)

it may not be the best movie, but with your anality you will never have it. it has a completely matte finish, as most do not, and is just gorgeous in hand.

you may have The Little Mermaid or Iron Man Blu-ray which are crazy rare cases, but no one but me will possess this particular North American 3-disc version of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown SteelBook™.

And this not to toot, as i am not that way, but simply to show you that there is something out there in the world you don't have.

Please...lose sleep!

I don't thi k anyone here questions collecting the cases but when you brazenly
Say you bought every single one in ten different sTores then you are putting yourself up for ridicule especially since you don't do anything but put them on a shelf.

You don't sell them to people who actually want them, you don't donate them to charity. You don't say anything aout selling one single one to make your money back.

Seriously, if i went o my local BB and they were sold out and I came in here to find you saying you bought them all and have no mention of offering them to
Anyone I would be pissed.

There used to be a guy who would buy these steel books and do a group deal so anyone who wanted them could get them. Oh well wonder what happened to him

Even if you bought 2 or 3 no one would care that much but a dozen or more for no other reason then to stash them away.
There has been at least one person in this topic who ask,if he could get one from someone. why not make him an offer, the good will goes a long way.

WTF.

Re: The Avengers - 3D Blu Ray metal case.

to me xage seems like the type of person who will end up on Hoarders eventually. There is something odd about buying a ton of dvd cases with no intent to use them or sell them.

Re: The Avengers - 3D Blu Ray metal case.

I have 6 sealed copies of the Ghost Rider 2 steelbook. Got each for free months after the pre-order was over. Am hoping to give to friends or trade. Keeping sealed multiples just to brag seems odd to me, but I'm not one to judge.

Got what seemed to be the last Avengers steelbook in my store tonight. Very underwhelmed by the design. Don't usually go for them unless I really love them. May return it. Am tempted to by the Snow White steelbook because it's so beautiful despite the fact that the movie was so-so. Have never done that before.

Oh, so you're just saving 10 copies for a rainy day? My finances have nothing to do with my thoughts on hoarding 10 copies.

Your link doesn't work, i'd love to think why you think i'm stalking you Not my fault I notice when you post something ridiculous.

I didn't know BB was doing this; might swing by my local store and pick one up.

Yes, one. Because I'm not a cock.

I dunno why you kept on telling me I sell? Normally people who thinks that way - finances are not good.

I bet youre still logging IN and OUT from your timesheet and dreaming for a salaried exempt position

Not for nothing, but there's been nothing but personal attacks in this entire thread. Most attacking Xage.
