Best Buy will get the Viva Metal Box on the 28th from what I have heard.

Best Buy - $7.50 on Aug 28th.

Did a little more research and came across the same information.

So, it looks like August 28 it is for the Viva metal box at Best Buy. Your $7.50 deposit is good towards the movie when it releases in September.

Being such a massive hit, I think Best Buy will be aggressive on the 3D pricing. Maybe $24.99.

You will NEVER EVER find it! There is NO STEELBOOK made for Avengers in Bestbuy.

Picked up my copy during lunch today. It's nice that they give you the option of which version you want too. Was only a couple more after copies after I left.

There is no SteelBook, which is made by a specific manufacturer. There is, however, an "Avengers" metal case that's exclusive to Best Buy. Different manufacturer, but to most people it will look like a SteelBook.
