Love the movies, but the packaging fucking sucks ass!!!!!! Disks are hard to remove and put back in. It's even worse than the Star Wars set.
Does anyone know of a site where I can print some covers and put them into individual cases?

Is there any chance that these will come out on their own ? I'm not going to waste money on a movie that nobody wanted.

I caught the Raiders theatrical release last week and noticed the glare between Indy and the cobra was there but noticed the glare between Marion and the cobra for the first time ever!
As for the packaging, my discs aren't hard to get out. On the contrary, at least one has rolled onto the floor each time I've opened the package unless I remember to keep it tilted up.

I actually really like the packaging for the set. Looks really nice. My discs were a bit hard to get out at first but after taking them out the first time it seems the flap loosened just enough where they'll be okay to get out.

I didn't have too much issue getting my discs out of the Indy set. I held the case to the side, and each disc will slide just enough to allow you to pinch the end of the disc and pull it out of the case.
Each disc had at least 1 minor hairline scratch on them, with Temple of Doom and Last Crusade having the most. But from reading on blu-ray.com, almost no one has gotten a flawless set. I'm not nearly as bothered by light scratches now as I was during my DVD buying days.
I also think the book package was nicely done. But I can see it bothering people as well.

I think I'm going to wait for a sale or price drop on this set too, however long I have to wait. Honestly, I bought the DVD set on the release date and have watched it only a couple of times. (And my Crystal Skull DVD is still in its shrinkwrap. Damn my completism!
)
Speaking of which, Rifftrax's Crystal Skull riff is on sale this week. That just may get me to unwrap my DVD. (Unfortunately, their Raiders riff is still full price, but I'll be grabbing that, too.)

Picked this up today. I like the packaging and the discs come out easy for me. Movies look really good too. Can't wait to have a one-day Indy marathon.

I've noticed several people mention the same thing I noticed, that the idol in the beginning had "real" eyes before he grabs it, but had never noticed that before the blu-rays.
I also thought it was odd because the Lucasfilm Archives coffee table book with Star Wars and Indiana Jones prop photos had the idol as completely gold.
Looking closer, I noticed that when Belloq holds up the idol after getting it from Indy that it was only gold, so I looked a little on the internet and found a pic at this site:
http://screencrush.com/raiders-of-th...nd-the-scenes/
It's about 10 or 11 photos down and shows that the idol on the altar had mechanical eyes. I'm assuming that means that the "stunt" idol was the all-gold old one since the mechanical one must have been wired through the altar.
I've never know this before and thought I would share. Sorry if everybody else already knew this.

I saw this movie in the theater, I worked in an electronics store that had the LD playing continuously for months, had it on videotape, LD and DVD and never knew the eyes were supposed to move

That's cool. I never knew that. I wonder what they were going for exactly. Did they want to present the artifact as being alive or some kind of machine?
It's worth pointing out that they attempted something similar in Temple of Doom. Right after Indy picks up the shankara stones a snake statue near Indy turns to look at him. It's very hard to see. You can tell that in the final cut they hoped the audience wouldn't notice it. I think it was conceived as some kind of alarm system or surveillance system but they ultimately abandoned the idea.

With my $30 RZ cert I may not wait for Christmas. The big problem is that like many, I already have IJ4 on Blu and don't care to own IJ2, so I'm basically getting two movies. If it weren't for the tremendous space savings on my shelf I wouldn't bother

About a $10 different from what I paid and after tax is added only about a 6 dollar difference. But we have already watched every movie so I guess I can't be too mad. I knew it would drop but I think most people who were talking about a drop was looking more around the $30 to $35 range for the set.
