Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
^For those not interested in owning Christine, that free signed copy with $100 purchase is a great way to essentially get around $100 of titles you do want for free after you flip the signed Christine.
I'll definitely be trying for it since there are a few TT titles I'd like to own, but it is hard to justify buying a lot of them in one fell swoop...this is all the rationalization I need.

I'll just grab a few TT titles that re-sale for a decent amount and get a Christine to sell. Nice. Thanks TT!

Oh well, doesn't really matter, it just means I'll be getting The Fury and Our Man Flint a couple days sooner...

Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
I still cannot believe that title went to Twilight Time, but this marks the second must-own from them after The Big Heat (another catalog title I was shocked Sony felt would not be profitable for them to release on their own).

Yeah, but unlike the horror movies (Christine, Fright Night), I think Major Dundee will be pretty easy to get initially.

My copy of Christine showed up today. Nice little booklet, but I do kinda dislike their boring spines. Yea, I know that's a little nitpicky...

Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Not going to count my "Christine"s until the Order Confirmation email hatches, but if the order I placed goes through, I have 1 unsigned and 2 signed copies coming my way.

Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
For those that got one, did you get your order confirmation emails already?
I got to the "Thank you for your order! Checkout: Order Confirmation" page, but no email yet.
My cart is empty now, so it seems like the order went through, but without an email confirmation, I'm not that confident in it.

WOW! First time ever trying to get something on their site and now it will be the last!
Had Christine in my cart as a new customer when I clicked on the new customer button and waiting 3 min the server became unavailable. When it finally launched my cart was empty!! And of course it was sold out then. BS

Yup. If someone lost out on this because the didn't have their shipping and payment info already punched in they have only themselves to blame.

Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
That's bullshit. I'm a long-time customer of the site, and while I was fortunate to get a copy the first time around, I was really hoping to get a second copy as a gift (signed or unsigned, whatever), and had even placed four other Twilight Time discs in my cart in order to finish off the outstanding titles I wanted in that collection, and to at least qualify for the signed copy if they didn't allow me another copy of the unsigned one. I was logged in and my info was all up to date, and yet the site still got hung up and eventually became completely unavailable for a couple of minutes. Having everything "punched in", whether you were a new user or a veteran, was clearly NO guarantee of getting through in a mad rush like this.

I got an autographed copy!
Not to worry you, but they have said that the autographed deal only counted if it was $100+ in Twilight Time releases only.
I got the following...
CHRISTINE (1983 / AUTOGRAPHED)
THE FURY (1978)
ENEMY MINE (1985)
THE BIG HEAT (1953)
EXPERIMENT IN TERROR (1962)
That went quick. Christine sold out again?
Edit: Yay order confirmation.

Site lag is out of all our hands and what makes drops like these a matter of luck of the draw.
But, if you wasted time creating an account while trying to checkout, then it is that person's fault for not taking the steps within their control beforehand.
