I don't think FOX will release Date Movie or Epic Movie on Blu anytime soon. They had the chance when Vampires Suck came out and nothing I also wouldn't mind getting Fried Green Tomatoes, Overnight Delivery and Tod Browning's Freaks and the Universal Classic Monsters!!!!!!!!

It was never released on DVD, so a BD release is unlikely. Still waiting to get rid of the VHS copy.....

I had mentioned these in another thread. Warner has the Peanuts TV specials. Do we know if they have movies too? Paramount still seems to have Snoopy Come Home and Boy Named Charlie Brown since they just released a double feature this month.

Speaking of movies that studios have promoted forever and then never delivered, where's Team America: World Police?

Ah, the Universal Classic Monsters. That would be sweet. Universal dropped the ball when they didn't include the original 1941 Wolfman in HD on the remake's blue-ray. I thought it sucked that they made it available as online streaming.

Heck, Screwballs 2 got a release too. There are plenty of movies out there that didn't think would get a blu-ray release but certainly did. Honestly, I'm hoping at some point we get a couple of blu-ray releases for Swamp Thing (unedited, hahahaha) and Dracula, Dead and Loving It. Mebee, but probably not.

I don't think they will ever release Xanadu on Blu-Ray.

I bet they will. It has something of a cult following, and it got a special edition a few years ago.

Ax 'Em
Las Vegas Bloodbath
Video Violence 1 & 2

Basically, any title that The Cinema Snob reviewed (on his main show, anyway) that isn't Salo, Maniac, Cannibal Holocaust, or the original Last House On The Left.

Re: Movies Least Likely to be on Blu Anytime Soon

Does it make anybody else laugh a little that the following people have mentioned to "never" release on Blu-Ray actually have.

Executive Decision
Galaxina
United 93
Outland
Ralph Bakashi titles (well Wizards has come out)
etc.

Unfortunately neither Swamp Thing nor Dracula Dead and Loving It have came out. I predict too well sometimes.

I haven't seen a Warner Archive/ on-Demand DVD-R ever transitioned to a BD before.

Outland on Blu-Ray? I just placed my pre-order. The list of upcoming releases are getting better and better.

I did, did you notice the title of the thread?

How could you possibly have thought that a movie that was such a DVD staple wouldn't come out on BR?

Release Date: November 8, 2011
