Yeah for the price difference, I'll just get myself a copy of a Region A Quantum release.

Disc 23 (1 hour of bonus features) is now described as Region B only.

That $150 is pretty much my price point. Pretty amazing...even with NY tax, $7 and change per movie. I don't have any Bond on BD (except Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale two-disc). It's going to be hard to get the whole collection more economically.

This wasn't really on my radar until I saw this. BB continues to get an increasing amount of my BD business.

I think I'm following your logic... but my preorder price from Amazon.co.uk the current exchange rate for the Bond box is at $126.59 (which includes p/h, but not credit card foreign transaction fee).

US set:

Shipping-8$
Taxes-32$ (of which I'll get x amount back because Amazon overcharges us)

I brought Die Another Day, For Your Eyes Only, From Russia with Love, Dr. No, Thunderball, Live and Let Die from Amazon back in Dec 08 for $39.94

I also got Goldfinger, Moonraker, Man With The Golden Gun, License To Kill, The World Is Not Enough, Casino Royale, & Quantum Of Solace from Dvd Planet for free because of credit I had with them for trading in dvds. The last one is Never Say Never Again from Amazon for about $15.

I haven't ever had to pay any duty/import fees when ordering from Amazon.co.uk to Canada, even when ordering oversized items like BSG - maybe I've just gotten lucky but I have yet to be hit - so in my estimate, this set should cost about 125 all in if that trend continues.

Seriously. Target too.

Responding to an old post...browsing the James Bond thread at HTF, it has been posted that an amazon exec, in an email reply to the member there, has given the length of the bonus book as 71 pages.

Bah, I would rather have a $16 (after tax) discount at BB than a book excerpt. It is strange that the listing on Amazon no longer mentions or shows the book extra anymore. I canceled my preorder with Amazon.
