So are they forcing people to buy TRON: Legacy to get TRON on Blu-Ray?

I have no plan to EVER upgrade to a 3D home setup.
I'm not even a fan of Digital Copys.
Or DVD copys.

So, to me...the 5 disc set, is appealing because I want BOTH films on Blu...but hate that I will be getting 3 extra discs that I will never touch.
Meh.

Re: TRON: LEGACY DVD/Blu Combo Pack >> 04/2011 (?)

For reference, there will be just a standard Blu-ray+DVD combo pack for Tron: Legacy for those who don't want to get the combo pack that includes the 3D disc and the digital copy.

I really wish Disney would drop the digital copy disc and just include a code to iTunes to download the digital copy a la Lionsgate (Saw 3D), Universal (Scott Pilgrim) and Warner (Inception).

This.

Hopefully it won't be too expensive, but if it can be had for around $60 I'm all over it.

Hopefully a coupon will work on it as well.

That's what I was thinking. $35 with an $8 or $10 coupon bringing it down to $25ish. (Or less if Amazon has crazy deals like the usually do with Disney stuff)

I'm all over this. Will also be getting the German Steelbook and any other that comes out if it looks decent.

Still hoping for a Tron and Tron Legacy Steel that's just the original poster art for each, but I know it's a longshot.

They've just got to be doing a set minus the 3-D edition of the movie I would think. But we'll see.

Nice looking sets. Not sure which I'd go for yet. I just want TRON on its own, and Legacy with all the bonus stuff. No 3D or gimmicky packaging for me.

Admittedly, I'd prefer a set without the 3D disc for Legacy (since I do not have a 3D set up, nor do I anticipate ever upgrading to 3D). Looks like that may be the only way to get the original Tron on Blu-Ray...

I wish Disney would drop the 3D disc, since it's going to fail miserably just like Beta did.

Definitely picking up the 5-Disc Set (2-D).

Really hope that ends up being final art.

The 5-disc set will be mine. I just hope the 3D disc doesn't drive up the price considerably.

I highly doubt the original won't get a standalone release, but if it doesn't I'd expect the double-feature to have reasonable pricing.

I saw Legacy a few times in the theater, and I'll be picking up the set, but I'm not sure it will come off as good visually at home. I'm hoping the audio is awesome.

$56 for the 5 disc set?

*Facepalm*

I know the price will go down, but still.

And that's cheaper than buying the two movies separately

Now that I see those prices, I'm going to wait to see what kinds of deals will be available release week along with coupons.
