I'd really love to get my hands on the Hurt Locker steelbook, and the Natural Born Killers book-style BR.
i already have two Hurt Lockers, the 1st print, and then the 2nd Academy Awards version. |

Depending on how much you want to spend, the Best Buy Steelbook is very obtainable on eBay. The last two sold went for just over $30 w/ shipping. The Korean steelbook just plummeted its value.

Along with the Criterion Blu-ray of The Third Man in itself, the digipack version's just about impossible to find. It's distinctive for this artwork, seen after the slipcase has been removed:

Jin-Roh the Wolf Brigade is currently going for $142.50 on ebay and the auction is still kicking.
Probably the most valuable "NON-Gimmick limited edition packaging" blu-ray out there. |

How about Evil Dead?
The initial special edition included a special features DVD, but that went OOP(?) and current stock comes with the BD only.

I have dozens of those Spider-man coasters. I don't think they've ever sold for much on ebay.

Re: Most limited and rarest Region A Blu-Rays
I have a bunch of those Spider-man and South Park discs. Doesn't look like there's a demand for them.

Re: Most limited and rarest Region A Blu-Rays
Rare does not always mean it's worth a lot of money. It could also mean that nobody wants it.
If I recall correctly, everybody was picking up multiple copies of that Spiderman disc so they could use the case for other things. If anybody buys it for more than $3, they payed $3 too much. |

anybody know of a 2-disc Appaloosa with a slipcover, and also a Casino Royale SE with cover?
|
Re: Most limited and rarest Region A Blu-Rays
Thanks for posting about the Evil Dead limited. I've stayed away from buying blu-rays of recent to save cash, but didn't realize that edition was drying up. Luckily I just got a new copy of ebay for under $18. I would have been upset had I broken my Evil dead Limited Edition streak.
