re: Star Wars

Yep, the fact that other artists and people worked on the original trilogies always throws people for a loop, because it is not all George's work that went into those movies, unlike the PT where he was almost everything. George owns the movies now, he can do whatever the hell he wants with them, but the revisionist history is sad.

And Natalie's Nips were most present in the scene in the ship in Tatooine where she was talking to Hayden. They have definitely been edited in the DVD.

Thats not proof of anything. Maybe if you put out the OOT and OT SE at the same price point, you may have a decent test.

And its funny you sit and call people names and make attacks on people, when no one has berated anyone for buying whatever they want. The only person who has caught flack is Lucas, and it is totally appropriate to criticize him for it - since he is the one making the decision.

It baffles me how certain fans of the special editions can get so defensive whenever anyone wants the original unaltered trilogy to be made available alongside the special editions.

judging from the thread's timestamps, I guess around here it falls under the "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" category.

Happy birthday George, because it's your birthday we'll refrain from complaining for 1 day...1 day.

Maybe my post got lost, and I think this might be the fixed version, but:

I saw that, I think it's after it was 'fixed'. I saw the movie in the theater and I remember during that scene of Anakin and Padme talking in the ship, they were very prominent on the screen. In fact, it distracted me from the dialog.

I'm pretty sure that for the DVD some work was done to make 'em less noticeable. I think if you want a before shot, you'd probably have to somehow find a cap from a bootleg theatrical recording.

(I can't believe this is what finally got me to post in this thread)

I agree... the first comment I made to my friend after the movie ended was "Man, her nipples were the size of basketballs on that screen!"

I kid you not.

I think it's the costume.

re: Star Wars

yeah...from what those images show...not much in terms of nipple. Odd design there on the breast region.

Those aren't the scenes where your nips were bustin through

It was in the scene that is depicted in Paragraphs 19 and 20 of this Web site

re: Star Wars

All I remember from AOTC were those nips, it was like manna from heaven since the rest of the movie was horrible.

It was pretty funny given the stories on how Carrie Fisher's breasts were taped down. The only thing I can think of is that nobody realized how prominent they would be on the big screen.

re: Star Wars

I always figured the way the costume was designed, those right-angle seams where probably rubbing up against said nips, making them well, you know.

Best Buy is getting a bonus disc for the complete saga that includes a 3 hour documentary on Natalie Portman's nipples.

I can't wait for the outcry when Lucas chooses to "improve" that documentary.

No, in the original print you could definitely see her nips thru the white suit.

re: Star Wars

Somehow people on the Internet talking about whether or not they saw the outline of nipples when the Internet is not only already full of actual nipples, but the same nipples in question, is more pathetic than people on the Internet arguing about Star Wars on the Internet.

re: Star Wars

Actually we're arguing about whether or not said nipples have been digitally removed, and if so, has that raped our early-adulthood?
