Yes, because it changes hands once out of the UK unlike say FedEx or UPS.

That's odd your's doesn't. My carrier was DHL and I was able to track it through them and then USPS when it changed carriers.

Damn, I would have loved the 4 sleeve reversible art option on the limited set! So, what is the difference between the standard and the limited sets other than the region coding and the packaging?

Mine dispatched Dec. 11th. I'm hoping I have a present sitting at my house when I get home!

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

This is the first time I have ever posted anything on this forum but I felt it was worth sharing with others who may be waiting in the U.S. for their Battle Royale set.

My order shipped on Dec. 11 and like most I was given a Jan. 5, 2011 delivery estimate. This was a big difference from my original estimate of Dec. 20-24. I emailed Amazon UK multiple times about this and they sent me those "canned" or pre-written emails.

Yesterday (Dec. 27) I sent them another email about getting a refund for my shipping cost since I had not gotten my order. This was the third email I had written requesting a shipping refund or reduction. However this time I directed the email to the "other comments/questions" section of customer service instead of "where's my stuff." Sure enough today (Dec. 28) they gave me the refund for my shipping cost.

If anyone is still waiting for their order and had pre-ordered the set before release day, you should try asking for a shipping refund. Just make sure to address the email to "other comments/questions" and not "where's my stuff" as you may get the same response others have gotten on this and other forums. Make sure to quickly make a point of expressing in your email that you are requesting a shipping refund and not asking where your order is. This is what I did in my last email to Amazon UK.

Sorry for the long post and hope this helps in people getting their shipping refund.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

I ended up getting a refund on my shipping as well.

I'm willing to hold judgement on the second release, but I'm not exactly psyched to see the difference (or apparent lack thereof) between the LE and non-LE editions.

Who cares what's included in the non-limited edition? As long as you get the product you wanted and paid for, everything should be hunky dory.

You're absolutely right. Around $20 for the only region-free edition of Battle Royale is a steal, especially considering all the content we're getting. Any qualms I might have are so minor that I'm pretty much already over them.

Still not G'damned here. Shot my shipping request to Amazon. Wasn't going to do it if it was here, but this is getting ridiculous. Not Deep Discount ridiculous, but ridic nonetheless.

Sent them a shipping refund e-mail too. My order doesn't have a tracking number either. It better not get "lost" in the mail

I'm sorry, but fuck that. Shipping Dec. 11 and an estimate of Jan. 5 is bullshit.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

So my friend, who literally lives 5 minutes down the street from me, got his set today and I haven't gotten mine, even though they shipped out at the same time. WTF

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Add me to the group - preordered as soon as it went live, shipped Dec. 11th, still not here.

Very disappointing as others around me (same city!) have gotten it before Xmas and I'm still waiting. I wonder if they actually shipped these when they said - Amazon (US) has been known to send out shipping emails but not have the product go out for a few days.

At almost 3 weeks now, it's getting a bit ridiculous. My biggest concern is that the item is now SOLD OUT, and being a limited edition will likely not be restocked. If these do get "lost" in the mail, we're pretty much just out of luck on it.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Amazon gave me a "fuck you, we're not giving you shit" e-mail:

The estimated delivery date given for this order is January 05, 2011. Please note that due to adverse weather conditions most of the international and the domestic orders are delayed in transit.

Your order is still in transit and I am confident that it will arrive by the estimated delivery date. You can confirm the estimated delivery date by visiting “Your Account” via the following link:

Amazon.co.uk takes full responsibility should your order not arrive by the date above, please contact us again on the above date by using the following link and we will assist you further:

If you do not receive your order by January 05, 2011, please let us know using the above link and we will be happy to refund you the delivery charge that you incurred for this order.

Your order is important to us, and we endeavour to ensure all our parcels are received on-time.

I hope this helps.

We hope to see you again soon at Amazon.co.uk.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Amazon UK initially ignored my requests for a shipping refund, but I persisted as I felt it was ridiculous for my order to take nearly a month to arrive. I live in New Jersey and have yet to get my order.

If Amazon denied your request for a shipping refund then wait till Jan. 5. If you still have not received your order by that date, do not hesitate to ask again for a shipping refund. Even with bad weather conditions, I think waiting nearly a month for a shipment is too long.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Well, just to chime in with the rest of the discontent, I haven't received Battle Royale either. The postal service is having some real problems, with many of my expected packages just not coming or getting out on time.

I have around five packages waiting and one that I shipped out that are not doing anything, besides festering in mail-rooms. Two were supposed to be here before the holidays and the weather, while the others were shipped out in the midst of it all. I have no tracking number either, probably because DHL doesn't handle my stuff. I can't believe that the mail is having so many issues, and then to make it better, Arrow's announcement seems like a slap in the face.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Geez, guys- I'm having trouble waiting, too, but... there's some severe weather in the UK and in the States, sometimes customs can hold onto the packages forever and the shipping charge Amazon.uk is asking is pretty tiny to begin with. I would recommend a little more patience.
