What timeframe were you promised? Mine was dispatched on the 11th, and is listed due by Jan 5th, 2011.

Was yours pre-ordered when they posted the original release date? If not I doubt you will get the shipping fee refunded. If you did they should give it to you.

I pre-ordered on the 18th of October. They sent it to out on the 13th of December; recieved it on the 21st and they refunded me £3.08 on the 14th. They estimated I would get it on the 24th.

Same here. An item originally slated for delivery on the 13th of December is now given a delivery estimate (with no Tracking info) of Jan 5th, and they can't even offer a shipping credit? Or even a sincere apology? Eh, it's not really that big of a deal, but they should really work on their canned responses not sounding so robotic.

I was given the same delivery date as everyone else in the inital shipping e-mail of January 5th. I e-mailed their customer support and I posted the response earlier in the thread. They promised that the movie would be here by the 20th (which obviously didn't happen). When I e-mailed back like they asked me too, I just asked for a shipping credit. They came back with offering to either refund the whole order or send a second copy out, neither of which would be fair to them.

I take you mean their screwed if their player cannot do a PAL to NTSC conversion. Otherwise, if it's region free it can play on any player regardless if the player is locked on region 1.

Some players can. I remember when I bought the Malata 996 way back when, before I hacked it; I tried a region free PAL DVD and it worked.

I noticed too that on amazons site, the Blu version is sold out already. Although there is that region B locked version is set to come out feb 11

I honestly think that the bluray is being released in a dvd sized box so that Arrow wouldn't have to print up 2 different sized sets of books for the sd-dvd and the br releases. But that's just a guess.

Does anyone know why there isn't a way to track the package? I seem to recall all of my past orders from Amazon have had tracking numbers. Is this the case with all imported items from Amazon.uk?

As far as I know, that seems to be the case with imported orders from them.
