Question is now, is it going to be region free and how much exactly is £18.39 in Us... Google is telling me anywhere from 60 cents which is obviously wrong up to 22 bucks which doesn't seem right either as I would think 18 should be closer to like 30 or so

Day 1 for me as Kick Ass is my favorite movie of the year so far(and seeing as I have seen it 3 times is a few repeat viewings away from being in my top 20 of all time) The BonusView PiP is icing on the Kick Ass(pun intended) Cake.

$26.94 at current exchange rates (according to XE.com, which I've always found to be accurate).

I preordered the U.K. Steelbook. My player is multiregion, but I believe most of Universal's Blu-rays have been region-free. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Got my copy this morning (I got it sent to the UK early). Watched 2 parts of the making of featurette. Not bad, quite interesting. Only watched a glimpse of the film and it does look quite nice.
The main menu screen is abit odd as it has a clock and a live ticker feed at the bottom with Lionsgate info.

... So is this 2 discs or 3? Amazon.com has 2-Disc in the item description but 3-discs in the detailed specs. The back cover art posted on DVDEmpire mentions 3 discs. But then Futureshop mentions 2 discs again ...

It's a 3 disc set. The DVD is seperate to the DC. Stupid and a waste as some companies can do it.

Why is the DVD included a waste? Just because you don't want to use it doesn't mean a lot of other people would never use it. Most folks have only one blu-ray player but have DVD players elsewhere so it offers them the ability to play the movie in any player they have. It's a great idea...more studios should do it!

I think he was refering to the fact that the Digital Copy and DVD copy were two separate discs. A few studios have recently switched to where they were both on one DVD disc.

It is a waste of space if they put in 2 extra discs instead of a DVD/DC combo.

As Bob said, I think he was referring to having the DC on a separate disc than the DVD copy, instead of them both sharing the same disc. Frankly, I agree with him.

There are arguments to be made as to whether Digital Copies are a waste, but I strongly disagree that they should be forced onto the DVD. All of the DCs I've seen are more than a gigabyte in size. I would rather that space be used for better video and audio quality on the DVD.
