Strange. The sticker slapped on the front still mentions the 32-page "book". They couldn't possibly have included the same material in a booklet inside the standard case, could they?

Was really looking forward to getting this but I wanted the digibook and the only place in town stocking the Blu-ray was Wal-Mart. They only had their exclusive non-digibook version so I passed. Will have to order it or something.

Just finished watching this and it was phenomenal. I was expecting a much grittier/grainier look, but the image was pristine. Great digibook presentation as well - one of my new favorites. Can't wait for King Kong next

Yeah, it's a misprint.

It's the exact same sticker they put on the digibook. It just doesn't belong on the regular case.

That's what I figured, but I thought it was pretty odd that they put the effort to tack it onto the standard packaging.

Is there any kind of booklet in the Walmart version?

And are you able to get them on-line or only in stores? I've never been to a Walmart & I don't know of any near me!

Negative. Eco-case, too.

I got the digibook last night. I was able to get through about an hour of the movie last night and was very impressed with the audio and video. The book is slick with some nice glossy photos inside.

I saw it on sale at Borders today for $26.99. If the coupon takes 40% off the sale price, that'd be a real nice deal.

Can you not use the coupon on sale items period? Or can you use it and just take the discount off the normal price? Because (I believe) the normal price was $29.99, which would make it $18 after the coupon, which is still a nice deal.

^ Borders coupons traditionally discount the list price, not the sale price. Their system will just void the sale price when using a coupon.

So can someone confirm whether or not this has the "Mastering" documentary from the 2 Disc DVD?

I'm on the fence until I can be sure every extra has been ported over.

Barnes & Noble members can order the Digibook for around $20 +tax right now using a 30% off coupon found in the B&N coupon thread.

I will not buy any digi-book or anything with 'special' packaging. This is a automatic loss of a sale. With over 8,000 DVD's and approching 2,000 blu-rays this is an absolute waste of space. This also adds unnecessarily to the cost of producing the product and that is passed on to the consumer. Not a good strategy in these times. Cut the non-sense and just deliver the movies.

So just buy it at Wal Mart. They have the same Blu Ray in a regular case. Problem solved.

I'm not a fan of packaging that takes up unnecessary extra space, but I kinda like the digi-books (they don't take up any more space than regular blu-ray cases) and see no problem with them whatsoever, and I actually prefer them to the rather cheesy looking blu-race cases.

Opinions are like a$$holes. I like them, I read them more frequently than I watch the movies.

So glad to see the digibook market expanding now with WB releasing more than one per month, Sony returning to digibooks, and even Fox adopting them.

Why don't you sell the movies you don't watch so that you have room to go all out and get something really cool and special for movies you really enjoy? Also the digibooks are usually about the same width as a regular blu-ray case.

Re: Se7en (Seven) Digibook -- 9/14/10

While I have no use for digibooks, IMO this would be an exception as it is worth it and like TheDuke said, it's not much wider (if at all) than a regular BD case. If you don't like the movie, fine, but not to get it because it's a digibook doesn't make much sense.
