I'd tossed the Fulci into a order filled with far in advance pre-orders just in case I changed my mind or my curiosity about it waned.
When I finally decided to cancel it, I found they were shipping it out solo. Hopefully it's got a little more to offer than just the torture porn I'm reading about in most reviews.

Oldboy, just curious, how do you determine which movies you buy and which ones you rent or grab a cheap digital copy for? Just curious if it's based on movies that you have already seen that you know you want to own or if you blind buy / pick up based on recommendations from others.

i get what i think i'm gonna be interested in based on reviews (critical, audience), genre, type, etc. some are blind buys, some are just things that look and sound good. i usually buy the hard copy now only if it has some decent extras or at least ones not offered via digital streaming. some, of course, are ones i've seen and loved and want the extras not offered digitally. why?

I was just curious on how you made the choice of what to buy vs what to rent. Or if some of the digital purchases were to help cut down on space or help with organization.
