The Wolfman (remake) - June 1st, 2010
EDIT: Blu-ray.com confirms that both the theatrical cut and the new 119 minute director's cut will be included. Should be via seamless branching since disc 2 is the digital copy. Great news.

Movie was decent but indicative of the production and editing problems they were having. The production design was very good though. I may pick this up and check out the unrated version. The Blu-ray looks pretty stacked, too. They could have some really cool art for this.

I thought this was okay but don't really know if I need to own it. Might give it a rental at least to see the extended cut.

I thought it dragged in a few places, but I'll pick it up. Too bad a black and white version couldn't be included.

Pretty healthy, special features-wise, considering the less than impressive BO.
Will definitely check out the Director's Cut. 17 minutes extra is a pretty sizeable addition

I wasn't too hot on this one, but it does sound loaded - good on Universal for putting some effort in. I may be tempted to actually pick this one up!

I'm gonna get this one day one but, truthfully, while I enjoyed the film, it was not at all the satisfying experience I was hoping for. As a long time Universal Monsters fan, I set my expectations far too high for this one. It's a fun movie that will no doubt sound and look killer on my HT. The look of the film is incredible but everything else, including the wolfman, left me kind of...meh.

I'll grab this. It's one of the better werewolf movies out there, which says very little (I can count all the best ones on one hand), but it'll look great on BD and I want to see all the bonus features and the DC.

I recently started taking all the digital copies out of my blu-ray cases that have expired or will never watch (which is all of em) and putting them in a spindle to collect dust and then using the two disc cases for other reasons. I really dont like digital copies wasting space next to my blu's.

I have lots of empty cases lying around, for DVD, Blu, CD, etc, etc, etc...and every time I get a "deluxe edition" with a digital bonus copy disc, I take a very cheap DVD case, put the instruction sheet in the cover along with the extra disc, and sell it. I have a stack of about a half dozen at this time, lol. I then put the original multi-disc case aside, and put the main DVD/Blu/CD in a more appropriate case (no un-used disc hubs).

Probably not a bad way for those whom want to make some extra money off those whom are interested in the digital copy. Although frankly, if someone really wanted to have digital copies of their collection, I don't see why they don't just download software that allows them to make their own off their DVDs...

I only hang onto Digital Copies if the cover says it includes it (two disc set, etc), might be harder to trade in otherwise...even if it's expired.
Looking forward to this one, I enjoyed what I saw of it... the longer cut can only help. So, is Universal using blue spines on the slipcovers now? Irks me when studios change their layout like that.
