Missed it in theaters but I definitely intend on buying it. I LOVE that cover art. I wanted a copy of that poster. That would make an incredible SteelBook. Please make it happen, Future Shop or Best Buy!

Nice cover. I'll get it if Amazon has it for the right price.

I never got the chance to catch this in theaters, but this is a title that I intend on buying, if only because I love Spike Jonze.

If the story is in your heart it doesn't matter how many millions of dollars it made in the theater. I'll get it and Mr. Fox on release day.

I think they mention the BO number so you feel guilty and buy it.

Right, like finding a wounded puppy on your way home. You can't just leave it there. You have to bring it back and take care of it, at which point you have to keep it.

Re: Where The Wild Things Are - 3/2/10

not a fan of this movie, but good news for those of you who liked it.
personally it was the most disapointing movies of the year, i had such fond memories of the book from childhood, that i think there was no possible way that this movie could have lived up to it.

Re: Where The Wild Things Are - 3/2/10

I loved the movie, but found it depressing as all fuck. But YMMV, as it's the type of flick where what you take out of it depends entirely upon what you bring with you when you watch it.

Re: Where The Wild Things Are - 3/2/10

Considering how quickly their initial pressings seem to be going lately, you'll probably have to pick this one up on release date just to ensure yourself one of the BD combo packs!

Re: Where The Wild Things Are - 3/2/10

I think forcing us to pay more for Digital Copies is a horrible trend, but including the DVDs isn't so bad. I've found it useful for when I want to watch movies at my dad's house, or with my friends. As long as I can keep getting the Blu-rays for as cheap as I normally do, I like the trend.

I think they're the best thing to possibly happen to Blu-Ray. I just dropped $30 on the Moon Blu-Ray, and then I was invited to a friend's house, so to watch it with him I had to go rent the DVD. Including the DVD is great. The best option, though, would be to encode the digital copy on a SD-DVD, so that it serves a dual purpose. The fact that they use separate discs seems incredibly wasteful.
