Their upcoming Women in Cages DVD triple feature is coming to Blu-ray somewhere down the line as well.

Yeah, I know, but I don't think he's given a date for the BD yet.

Right, I was just making note of the configuration. Pre-orders for Battle and Damnation Alley are up at Amazon - $18.99 per.

Damnation Alley isn't a Corman title, but it is a cult release from Shout, so we might as well include it in this thread. No details on specs/extras for either Alley or Stars yet.

That "An Adventure You'll Never Forget." headline looks like those silly UK rating placards ..and if it were not for that, I'd fully agree. That artwork would otherwise be badass! It would be nice to see a reversal cover, simply. without. it.

Though to Cliff, and all the others over at Shout!, thanks for listening to your crew and continuing on with the blu-ray releases ....

Is there anyone praying for Carnosaur Blu-rays?

For anyone who wasn't already aware, the three films included in the upcoming Women in Cages collection are Women in Cages, The Big Doll House, and The Big Bird Cage. Here's the DVD cover art:

Here's a typically ridiculous scene from Damnation Alley featuring giant killer cockroaches. The clip includes spoilers, so be forewarned.

The Women in Cages set is now up for pre-order from Amazon. No official word on extras, but AV Maniacs had this to say about the DVD release, which I assume would also hold true for the Blu-ray:

Extras are still being gathered, but we do know that DOLL HOUSE and BIG CAGE will carry over the commentaries, trailers and TV spots from the earlier New Concorde releases. New to this release is a new full length documentary on the making of both of these films with Jack Hill. No word on extras for CAGES, but we can expect trailers and TV spots.

That scene freaked me out when I was a kid and saw it in theaters

^ might just pre-order considering it's all 3 flicks with extras - $28 doesn't seem too bad really

I'm going to hold off for a few days and see how much Family Video charges. I still have an unused Groupon for them as well.

According to Cliff, the 'From Manila with Love' doc will be just under an hour.

Aww, I was expecting a *giant* cockroach to pop out of the dark & bite the biker's head off.

Regarding giant cockroaches + Corman, do you know if Shout has any plans for The Nest? I saw parts of that on TV when I was a kid. Left an impression, though things change in 20 years.

Its amazing that the Frequently Bought Together section for Woman in Cages blu-ray is Fox and the Hound.

Cliff from Shout! had this to say on AV Maniacs:

I'd like to release THE NEST, but I believe it's still at MGM for a few more years.

You might want to check your Gold Box - it was $26.59 for me today.

FYI, there's a "Spring Cleaning Sale" going on at Shoutfactory.com, including some Corman DVD/BD's. Of course, a sale at Shout Factory means about the same prices you'd find these at Amazon (plus shipping). http://www.shoutfactorystore.com/pro...#axzz1ME7HraYH

Yup, their prices aren't too competitive. I'll probably pick up Caged Heat/Jackson County Jail if/once it hits $11.99 or so on Amazon.
