Just as long as it has the original music restored. (The first laserdisc had it, but all editions since have had it replaced.)

Here's what Shout said about the 2 Bruce Lee movies on their Facebook page:
This December, we're excited to be releasing two Bruce Lee films in Collector's Edition Blu-rays. Both films are brand new 4K scans, restored from the original negative and will contain new bonus features (to be announced at a later date). These releases are now available for pre-order at ShoutFactory.com:

I was surprised to get a ship notification for Bill & Ted yesterday. I would have thought with Transformers due two weeks earlier on the 13th that would have shipped first.

*In speaking to the process of creating the Legion Director’s cut, Blu-ray producer Cliff MacMillan explains further as to the journey to get there and the outcome. “We conducted an exhaustive search through a pallet of film assets from the original shoot to re-create William Peter Blatty’s intended vision. Unfortunately, that footage has been lost to time. To that end, we turned to VHS tapes of the film’s dailies to assemble the director’s cut. However, even some of that footage was incomplete, so scenes from the theatrical re-shoot were used to fill in the gaps. This director’s cut is a composite of varying footage quality from the best available sources.”

Very cool list of bonus material on Exorcist 3. Looking forward to seeing the directors cut.
Pre-ordered it off the Shout website. Looking forward to getting it soon.
Also pre-ordered Night Hawks as well.
Paid a little more than Amazon and unfortunately had to pay for shipping.

I'm really excited for that Exorcist III release! I'm debating whether or not to preorder. I wish the poster was a better image.

Hmm. Well, I'm seeing teal .
Does this have a 5.1 track to go with the 4.1 mix?

Since when did Carrie spike up to $34 on Amazon? Wasn't it $22.99 not too long ago?

My pre-order for Nighthawks just arrived today from Shout. 20 days early. Paid a little more than Amazon, but that's awesome that they send these out so fast.
Not a lot of extras as I posted awhile back. Just a few interviews.

So before I eventually replace these titles, has it been a consensus that the transfers are indeed improved and worth upgrading for The Return Of The Living Dead, Carrie, Road House, The Thing, Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure?
I just don't to get stuck with an inferior transfer ala Dog Soldiers. I read some of the reviews here and they seem to be positive but I haven't really delved deep and read a bunch of reviews.

Just got Exorcist III a few days ago. Shipped super early from Shout.
Anyways, I started watching some of the directors cut late last night before I hit the sack.
It's 6 minutes shorter and it's intercut with newly inserted very grainy 4:3 scenes which were sourced from VHS. The title card when the movie starts was also changed to William Peter Blatty's Legion.
I'll try to finish this up today. Haven't seen the film since the 1990s so I'm watching it with relatively fresh eyes.
After shipping and sales tax, came out to $30 and change. Might be a little too rich for most here and it's a 26 year old title. I guess you're really paying to get it early.

The altered aspect ratio is fairly disheartening but I still plan on picking it up when I find it cheaper.
