I posted this in the Amazon Deals thread too, but the Scream Factory edition of The Thing is showing up for $10.39 on Amazon currently. It’s listed as temporarily out of stock but still a good deal.

I looked over the Shocktober list, and saw what looked like a few decent deals. Put two in my cart, then had to add a third to get past the free shipping threshold, and the total was almost seventy dollars.
Which, I suppose, is what happens they've jacked their prices up to the $35-$40 range for just about everything, but it's also why I haven't bought anything from Scream in a couple of years
I'll probably sit out this year, too. I just can't justify paying nearly $70 for Creepshow, Candyman, and Sleepwalkers when I already own them.

Cannot fucking wait. Those extras are amazing. But no KD? Head to big from Entourage which died years ago? Anyway, this was always a guilty favorite The Blob (1988)

don't usually go out of my way to see horror on Halloween, but since i just got The Blob (CE), really want to see so that will be queued up tonight. even though i have the TT and saw it then when it came out, this has a lot more new extras and look forward to the interviews. would have loved ones from Dillon and Smith, but oh well...

Since Shout has gotten into releasing some movies from Paramount's catalog, I really wish they could release The Ghost and The Darkness. It would be perfect for a Scream Factory release.

the one with Douglas and Val Kilmer? what makes that a Shout movie exactly? mabye Shout Select, but their catalog is mostly horror or big cult movies...

Yes the one with Douglas and Val Kilmer. I think the movie has enough fans for a release whatever label Shout thinks it could release it under. I thinks its kind of an action horror movie.

Big Trouble in Little China may not be my favorite Kurt Russell movie but it’s definitely my favorite Kurt Russell performance!

I watched Big Trouble in Little China once when I was a thirteen or so, and it didn't make much of an impression on me. Sort of surprised to see how many people like it.
