Picked up the Wal-mart version, they had like 30 left and it looks like the stocked around 75-100.

Mine was 'sold out' of the Blu-ray until I asked - below the counter they had a box full of them. I paid $13 for my Blu-ray while the next guy paid $15 for his 1 disc DVD

The Wal-Mart that I went to also had at least 30-40 copies. I'm glad I didn't go at midnight.

Just picked up my copy at a local BB.

One of the tabs that locks the Blu-Ray case shut already broke off

I took alook at it and didn't see any more boxes of Blu, but I could've missed it.
Not sure of the inventory. They had a few copies in the theft proof plastic cases. When I brought it to the register he pulled one out from behind the counter. Did not see how many they had. Everything was marked $19.96 and rang up at that price.

I went to the one in Gates on Buffalo Rd

I'm going to have to hit a few more Walmarts this week and see if I can find one cheaper than $19.96, and then return it with my original receipt.

^ Beats me. My SoCal Wally World had them for $19.96. I tried using the Papa John's coupon I printed from a scan online and the dumbass working couldn't get it to enter. I said forget it, paid and left.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 10/20/09

I paid 13.00 for 2-disc BD at Wal-Mart in Atlanta off Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd.

I had to ask for it, they had a box behind the counter filled with them, though.

The shelf tags also said the price was 13.00, and this wasn't a 'special' but looked to be the regular tags.

But no, I was laughing at how you said you bought Walmart.

Meanwhile, I picked up mine at Walmart this morning. All of them were in the big plastic cases, and they had about 5 on the shelves when I swung by around 9 AAM.
Forgot to put the Walmart Exclusive... hehehe

Mine rang up as $15.17

$16.08 out the door.

If only I had one of those Papa John's coupons. What a steal. Disc looks great.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 10/20/09

Paid $14.99 for mine today at the WM.

I don't know why I'm giving the as I hated this movie and I only snagged it as it was cheap, it was the IMAX version, and I'm still a Michael Bay apologist.

I was about to post "Where's Xage with every version known to mankind?".

You Sir, are the closest we have to an online museum for DVD/BD collectables.

I have it now, but I had I known how much it really doesn't add to the experience, I would have bought it at Fry's or BB. Nolan definitely knew how to use the format to enhance the scenes, Bay seems to have just picked random stuff and probably wanted to play with the cameras or something.
I actually enjoyed the scenes, but I agree that Nolan's execution was lightyears better.

Once the Aspect Ratio changed in TF2, it was a huge "Holy Shit" moment for me. The detail/clarity went into overdrive!

It anything, it serves as great demo material.
