Someone on the Criterion Forum cracked that it's Greenaway's 8 1/2 Women, but it must be the Fellini film. (I wish I had a JPG of the video-store customer from Ghost World to insert here.)

I'd love 8 1/2 on Blu-ray.

Totally 8 1/2 on Blu-ray. I guess it's time I sold my DVD of it. Awesome news!

I wonder if the 8+ yr old DVD of '8 1/2' will be revamped.

I'd be more interested in the Blu-ray if it included new/different supplements. Can my dream of a Rob Marshall commentary be really happening?

Why the (8.5) pictures of dogs?
I can understand 8.5 and blu, but dogs? why dogs?

I'd definitely be in for 8 1/2 on BD. One of my favorite films.

Usually the animal isn't part of the clue.

The dogs are clearly Criterion's way of referencing Blue's Clues as Drexl has already pointed out by displaying that imaginative picture. They may also be planning a Blue's Clues Collection for Criterion Blu-ray for all we know... I think I heard that somewhere. It should arrive the same day as the Criterion Good Burger.

8 1/2 was one of the best looking Criterion DVDs. I can only imagine how amazing it'll look in Blu-Ray.

A definitely buy for me.

I wonder if they'll have new supplements for this release. I found the extras on the current DVD pretty pointless and boring.

Still one of the best DVDs to date. I'd love more commentary too.

Ahhh! that all makes sense now. But why Blues Clues before a Criterion of Spongebob Squarepants? is there no justice?

And maybe the acronym of Blue Dog is its own answer.

We currently have THE THIRD MAN replacement cases in and we will be receiving the rest come November. The cost for a replacement case is $5, which includes shipping. If you would like to go ahead and purchase an upgraded case for THE THIRD MAN simply make a payment of $5 to the email address [email protected] through PayPal, providing your mailing address and item needed in the message field, and we'll send it out to you! If you prefer to receive [it and other] cases together, I would advise waiting until we have all cases available and then making the payment of [$5 each] through Paypal.

Already posted, but good to see we can pay Criterion $5 for something they should have done from the start instead of stupid cases while they waited to 'master' making a Blu-ray case clear

$5 wow.

But I guess they anticipate a lot of demand so they priced it high enough to make it worth it.

Oops, sorry about that Gizmo. I can't believe I didn't see that as I was posting. Although, I do see that we posted at the same time, so you must've only beat me by seconds.

33% of my purchase price to replace the case.

What other Criterion releases are they now replacing the cases for (might as well avoid them until they are re-released)?

King Spencer Pratt. He's probably the biggest douchebag in the world. Ok, second, but I don't want to name names on this forum.
