Almost made the same mistake when I bought The New World. Luckily I realized because of the price difference while the clerk was ringing it up.

I just noticed they have Blood Simple in the line up. Any chance we'll get both versions of the film? Any word on this?

Anything can happen but I doubt it since the Director's Cut is the Coen's preferred version, and Criterion always does what the director(s) want.

The Lone Wolf & Cub series is rumored to be announced today.

I was wondering why PDL wasn't on blu yet.

I'm in for that, LW&C, and One-Eyed Jacks.

Good month!

Wow, Punch Drunk Love is finally being released. I can't wait. Such a good month for releases.

I hope Lone Wolf & Cub's transfer doesn't suffer from the same kind of controversy Criterion release of the Lady Snowblood films and Arrow's release of the Female Prisoner Scorpion series fell under.

PDL for me. Awesome.

Hard to believe Adam Sandler in the Criterion collection... but then again, it's really more PTA than anything. It's a Sony title, so I wonder if we'll wind up seeing Hard Eight as well down the road.

I'm in for LW&C! I have the Animeigo set so buying this Criterion is a no brainer even with any future transfer controversy.
I'm excited for the version of Shogun Assassin that we are getting in this set too.

In for Punch Drunk Love, One Eyed Jacks and Dreams.

I told myself I was gonna be disappointed if the "Before" trilogy wasn't announced this month, but PDL definitely makes up for it.
