Nope, I went through the dvd listings 1st (I added them via each film's page) as I have more of those, then when I moved over to Blu-rays the above mentioned would occur on titles I'd already entered into my collection as a dvd. Strange. Maybe the advanced listing method (Brand: Criterion Format: Blu-ray) defaults to the dvd's page (even though it shouldn't)? I hadn't thought of that when entering my titles.

If that is so, WOW....I never thought Universal would let Criterion have the rights to Rear Window.

Oh, my mind would explode. And if they made a deal that also included Vertigo...

Got to your My Criterion page and then click on your collection and use the + add films link instead of adding them from their film page. That is how I put all mine in and never had that problem.

Regarding the My Criterion thing, the film listings don't always seem to be clear if something is 16x9 or not. Am I missing something?

Man I really need to brush up. I can barely even guess at the hint, let alone get it right. And what's worse is that I've seen both guesses and still couldn't get it!

Oh yes, and Last Temptation of Christ may be announced for the BD upgrade as well. If not tomorrow, soon. Things are shaping up nicely.

I said it before but I like Criterion's commitment to upgrading their earliest titles. Wish they still had the rights to Grand Illusion.

Perhaps this is sacrilege to some, but I prefer Grand Illusion over Rules of the Game. I've always felt it was the superior film.

Nice to see that The Gold Rush is coming soon.

Would have been amazing to see their work with some of the Universal Hitchcocks, although I doubt they'd ever get the rights to those, at least any time soon...

I don't recall a sinking ship in 'Last Temptation'
